How have you been after it?

I had mine tea time yesterday. I found it very difficult to get to sleep last night and then woke up in the early morning with diarrhoea and have been aching and feel off since.

I get it every year and don’t normally feel like this.

I haven't yet but my 5 year old had his yesterday (he has the injection not the nasal version), he's had no reaction to it but that might be masked by the fact that he's already on paracetamol every day any way.

TakeMe2Insanity · 17/10/2025 21:06

Didn’t react/no side effects at all.

Owmyelbow · 17/10/2025 21:07

No ill effects at all. Forgot I'd had it to be honest

Felt a bit weird for a couple of days afterwards, but soon passed.

cadburyegg · 17/10/2025 21:16

I had it last Saturday and was a bit tired the following day - about 24 hrs afterwards but fine otherwise. Last year I had the Covid and flu jabs at the same time and felt dreadful afterwards, so I made sure not to do that this time

OnlyHereForTheChristmasBoard · 17/10/2025 21:23

I had flu and COVID jabs together, which felt a bit like paying to get my arse kicked, but wasn't too bad overall - standard flu jab reaction of massive shivers at night, hot and uncomfortable, rubbish dreams. Next night I slept better but was drenched in sweat and had to change the bed. Arms less sore than usual.

Wincher · 17/10/2025 21:26

I also got a super painful arm, much more so than normal, but no other side effects

fungibletoken · 17/10/2025 21:54

No reaction here. Not even a sore arm. Hope you're feeling better soon, OP!

NoOneToTextWhenThePlaneLands · 17/10/2025 21:55

I’m about 12 hours on and all I feel is a very sore arm. This is the worst I’ve had!

petalpower · 17/10/2025 22:00

No reaction at all. Not even a sore arm.

Flatbellyfella · 17/10/2025 22:13

I had my flu jab last Tuesday along with my 78 year old neighbour, no problems for either of us.

chiefscoutsgoldaward · 17/10/2025 22:25

No problems here at all. I think it was the year before last I felt awful after it including a really sore arm so I've been a bit wary since then given I normally never really notice I've had it done.

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 18/10/2025 00:12

Fine after both the flu and Covid this year.

Whentherainwashesyouclean · 18/10/2025 17:37

I’ve feeling much better today 🥳
