Im probably really awful for thinking this but I don’t believe Farage cares about her - just using her for his own political gain.

The victims voices should be heard freely and loudly. not against the background of political interest.

I assume she is aware that Farage and Co skipped the parliamentary debate on this.

i don’t suppose she cares. Her appearance with Farage tells me my suspicions about her motivation are correct. She’s being groomed all over again.

Look at the horrible murder of Rhiannon Whyte. Reform supporters are exploiting what happened to her to whip up anti-immigration rhetoric. Those doing so clearly haven't even bothered to read what the poor woman's own family has said:

"Getting justice for Rhiannon is not the ending of her story, we will continue to advocate to evoke change in her name. Many have tried to imply this is about immigration, but these are the choices of one man, not an ethnic group."

I do think we need to listen carefully to what Ellie Reynolds has to say, regardless of whether Farage is exploiting her. My personal experience tells me that there may be truth in what she is saying.

Yes that’s what I was trying to say but not as succinctly.

I felt like her speech had been scripted for her - there was too many repeats of the same word (insult) and people don’t generally speak that way.

I looked at her and just thought she looked like a young woman whose voice deserved to be heard without it being for someone else’s gain.

I absolutely believe her.

I just wish her voice could be heard independently. Her own press conference and her own words.

the whole thing is a shit show but it’s just another political group getting involved and that will just sway the narrative another way.

They should be heard for what they have to say.
