How many choices are ‘too much’

fo you have space to conveniently store them or are your cupboards overflowing ?

CarpetKnees · 02/10/2025 15:14

Tea bags - with or without caff
Instant coffee - with or without caff
Coffee bags that go in your mug
Coffee bags that go in the coffee maker - with or without caff
Coffee that goes in the stove top thing
Coffee that goes in the cafetiere - with or without caff
Hot chocolate- to make with milk
Hot chocolate - instant / add water
Hot chocolate to make with milk with ginger
H choc /milk with orange
Bovril
Sachets of lattes / cappuccino / mocha etc, some decaff some with caff, some with added flavours - prob about 10 varieties in all
I suspect there are some left over fruit or herbal teas no-one drinks loitering at the back of the cupboard if need be.

So 25+
All (except the fruit / herbal teas) drunk at different times here.

Instant coffee (for the heating engineer!)

We don't drink hot drinks and if we're expecting guests - unlikely at the moment as mid way through a renovation project - we buy in what they like ahead of their visit.

I went through a hot chocolate phase a few years back, but realised it was making me feel ill so stopped buying it.

Notthatgameagain · 02/10/2025 15:27

That's ridiculous, do you enjoy all of them. I can offer normal tea, instant coffee, machine coffee like cappunico and a hot chocolate.

LittleBitofBread · 02/10/2025 15:29

Thang-yew!

In proper answer, no, you don't have too many. I certainly don't Grin

Auburngal · 02/10/2025 15:30

Hardly drink hot drinks in the summer. Coffee in the morning and that is it.

RavenPie · 02/10/2025 15:32

hexsnidgett · 02/10/2025 14:57

Mmm, need to drink up the herbal teas, why are the packets so big? I never get through them.

I’ve got too many to list but just wanted to say you can get bird and blend teas in smaller packets. There are so many flavours that you just end up getting more so that’s not particularly helpful information

HappyHedgehog247 · 02/10/2025 15:33

English breakfast tea
Earl grey
decaf Earl grey
Rooibos
Multiple fruit teas
Cafetiere coffee
Instant coffee
hot chocolate
mint tea

Howinthehelldidthishappen · 02/10/2025 15:35

Instant black coffee.
Hot water.
That's your lot!

Auburngal · 02/10/2025 15:35

Would be nice to get a box of mixed fruit or herbal teas. Problem is I have seen them with flavours which I cannot stand. Like camomile, fennel and lemon n ginger. The latter, I had one and it tastes of the same fake lemon as Lemsip and don't want to waste money/

KelsCommemorativeSausage · 02/10/2025 15:35

Ooh interesting. You could have:
Tea
Coffee/decaf coffee (both instant)
Fruit tea: raspberry, orange, pineapple, quince, strawberry
Horlicks
Cocoa (not hot chocolate)
Black tea: lemon, peach, Irish cream
Green tea with mango
Blackberry vinegar.

TheDandyLion · 02/10/2025 15:39

I can do filter coffee or about 100 different types of tea.

There are far too many to list but none of them are herbal, they are all varying tea-leaf blends.

CarpetKnees · 02/10/2025 15:40

Notthatgameagain · 02/10/2025 15:27

Why is it 'ridiculous' to enjoy a bit of variety?

pizzaHeart · 02/10/2025 15:41
