Really shocked to read this. I’ve always been quite fascinated by her and why Tom Cruise and she split. She’s always tried so hard to present her second marriage as perfect. It’s quite sad.

My son is short. He is only 7 but has known he is shorter than average fronted when he was 4 and it always upsets him. No, he is unlikely to have a growth spurt that will make him taller as I am very short and dad is average. Comments like these make me sad that even grown ups will see him as less than, as less deserving of a certain type of woman (or man) because he is shorter than average. Hopefully such people will be fewer and fewer

My brother was always extremely small for his age - so much so he went and had bone scans at 12 cos folks were so worried. They predicted from them he would be 6’3” as an adult. Well no one could believe it . He’s 48 and yep - 6’ 3”.

your boy is 7! It doesn’t mean he’ll be short.

I think it’s a shame they’ve split, but it’s so common nowadays.

NK has obviously had a lot of work done over the years, but I do think some of the comments on here are harsh.

She is beautiful, I just wish she would go back to being a redhead!

There are plenty of shorter people in the world, whether or not individuals are tall, and I agree that the allowed comments about shorter people are just horrible and I hope will be consigned to the past.

Not sure what being beautiful has got to do with anything (and I REALLY don’t think she is, personally), but it’s seemed obvious to me for a while that she’s got addiction/substance abuse issues. She behaves very oddly in public. She’s never been a good actress imo but the je ne sais quoi allure that people seemed to ascribe to her and that used to carry her into roles is gone. She’s also sadly as victim of Hollywood ageism. Anyway, hope it’s not too traumatic.

Wow, some sweeping unfounded statements there. Did that make you feel good? Its never even entered my head she has substances issues, I think she looks the picture of health. As for the "REALLY" not beautiful comment, that is pathetic. Why the need to tear her down? Sounds like jealousy to me ..........

I think she is a very good actress. Even in “Days of Thunder”. Actually, you’d have to be a brilliant actress to pull that particular job off and still retain your credibility.

I think it’s sad that NK and KU have spilt up. But, despite their wealth and success, it’s a tale as old as time.

Couple in their 50s. Teenage dc. Both busy with work. Drifting apart as the family dynamics understandably change. Rumours that he has met someone younger.

Remove the celebrity status and wealth, and it’s a story that we see on Mumsnet week in, week out.

Yes apparently he already had a new, younger girlfriend it seems. From what I have read there had been a lack of intimacy for a while. Maybe they didn't fancy each other anymore. It happens I suppose.
