Really shocked to read this. I’ve always been quite fascinated by her and why Tom Cruise and she split. She’s always tried so hard to present her second marriage as perfect. It’s quite sad.

You’re right! I’m conflating several films. I noticed it first with Cate Blanchett in Ocean’s 8 with Ann Hathaway and Sandra Bullock. Then with the others I’ve mentioned.

Basically highly tweaked so if you haven’t seen them for a decade they no longer look recognisable- especially those so distinctive in their youth. The work undoes their distinctive features. It’s a shame- but probably less noticeable to celeb watchers because it doesn’t happen in one go 🤣

I’m disappointed that NK feels she has to have so much work done.

Yes I was thinking why would she do that with young daughters? She is supposedly promoting female directors and it's not very feminist. I cringed at the way Keith calls her 'babygirl' as a nickname too . The whole vibe is very strange, over sexualised and not presenting a strong image for women.

The fact that they are approaching sixty and still call each other Baby and Babygirl is absolutely cringe imo. And doing that skincare advertisement with her daughter which she said was to give her a memory of being fourteen. Why couldn't she just take a family snap?? She seems terrified of being out of the public eye, losing public adulation as she ages. She is a very average actress. She knows perfectly well that it's her beauty that sends the world crazy. Meryl Streep is a great great actress but the world is not clawing for a piece of her. I think NK needs the mania that surrounds her looks. I don't think it sends a great message to young women. All my opinion of course.

We never know what goes on behind closed doors and it’s always sad when a couple split. She has sadly succumbed to way too many tweakments on her face and I can’t watch her in anything as she’s just expressionless.

I can't imagine anything worse than being married to someone so obsessed with their looks and youth. I admire her in many ways but he possibly has to avoid turning the heating on in case she melts. I expect both have busy schedules and are obsessed with work. I'm not surprised.

I'm five foot 1 so most people men are taller than me.

For years I thought I was 5 ft 3. Fucked me right off when it turned out I am 5 ft 1. My BMI changed for a start.

Yes remember thinking at the time that him going into rehab just after they got married (?) was, at best, a tough start to a marriage.

Kind of wondered in an idle way how long it might last. Was pleased that they were still together and hoped they were happy.
