Really shocked to read this. I’ve always been quite fascinated by her and why Tom Cruise and she split. She’s always tried so hard to present her second marriage as perfect. It’s quite sad.

I agree. She can’t see much of her kids either. Always filming, promoting things, away from home . She’s a very odd woman.

Interesting how no one ever says this about Brad Pitt and his six children.

I hear she lives in Hampstead now round the corner from Isla Fisher who’s also going through a messy divorce. I wonder if they know each other or if Nicole is too A list. It’s a shame she’s pushing the nepo babe eldest daughter to model when she’s from such an educated family I wonder why they never put uni first? Are they both surrogate babies?

She was the same in the Tom Cruise days, always talking about her kids, and always working all over the world. It never added up to me. But later I thought that was a marriage of convenience, in contrast to getting married to KA. I have some second hand gossip about why she and TC spilt, but I'd better not say anything.

I always thought there was something strange about her pregnancy with Sunday. She never talked about giving birth and was out and about very shortly afterwards without her baby. There are no photos of her in pregnancy beyond the very early stages so far as I know. For a very much wanted pregnancy. The only one that supposedly went to term, you would think she would have been gushing about the joys of giving birth and had lots of photos of herself in late pregnancy. Something fishy there perhaps.

I was an extra on a film that Nicole Kidman was in, shot in Scotland. Keith was there looking after the two kids, walking around with them amongst sightseers and cast and crew.

According to the Daily Fail he has another younger woman. Think that says it all

The conspiracy theory I will die on the hill of, is that she wasn’t pregnant with Sunday. She was open about using a “gestational carrier” with her second, rumoured to be her sister.

I am Australian and there were a few pictures of her out and about with her bump. I was suspicious because it wasn’t just that she was otherwise still tiny, but the other changes that happen with pregnancy such as dilated veins weren’t present at all. She looked like a non-pregnant woman wearing a bump. A few weeks after the baby was born she was out and about, in tight white pants, looking as if she’d never had a baby.

Not at all relevant and I have zero way to prove it but I actually think she suffers from Scleoderma and it’s not anti aging efforts making her look the way she does

You can clearly see the fillers and the lip plumping and Botox. She’s ruined her face. Someone who is deliriously happy with their partner and happy in their skin doesn’t work non stop so they are never home and desperately fight to look like they’re in their twenties like that. I know the industry is tough, but she really is obsessed with looking sexually available and young. She’s in her fifties and behaves like a young starlet. It’s quite sad really. Her films seem to be becoming more and more sexualised. She seems to keep hinting that she and Keith have a very active sex life foo. In my experience of those who boast continually of how hot their sex life is , the truth is often the reverse.

Honestly I can’t criticise her for the face stuff. It’s disappointing, yes. But so normal in her field it doesn’t surprise me she fell. That thriller set on a cruise ship, I think, had several really big name women in it. Excellent actresses. And each was almost unrecognisable to me, not a celebrity watcher, because of the surgery.

It was NK, Cate Blanchett, and maybe two other women of similar age and stature, and I struggled to work out which was which because of the cat eyes, cheekbones and lip filler.

How awful and what an indictment of our society. Men don’t do this so why do women feel they need to?

it’s not just celebrities anymore. I know several women my age, fifties, who’ve packed tonnes of shit in their faces, lips, bodies, hair extensions, microblading, false eyelashes, fake tan. Not only does it cost a packet, but it also creates a very similar look. As you say, the cat eyes.
Also, same lips, cheeks. i don’t know any men the same age who do this. It’s misogyny.

I think male celebrities do it too. Definitely to a lesser extent, but they feel the pressure of beauty ideals and aging aswell. Off the top of my head: George Clooney, Gordon Ramsey, Simon Cowell, Harry styles, Alec Baldwin.

I think it's becoming a thing with the younger generation of men. I know several men with some combination of fake tans, Botox, turkey teeth, hair transplants. Probably caused by it becoming normalised by influencers and social media, in general.

I can't think of any male A-list actor who's had as much cosmetic work as NK has (allegedly) has done, or who is so prolific in their film and TV projects as she is.

@PrizedPickledPopcorn NK and Cate Blanchett haven't appeared in a film together. Are you thinking of different actors in the remake of Death on the Nile, from a few years ago?

I don't date short men. Prefer taller than me. I've dated a guy once same height. Just felt weird.

You only see what people want to present to the public. You have no idea what goes on behind closed doors. Their looks have nothing to do with their relationship. Personally I don’t understand how people can be so invested in the personal lives of famous people.

Wasn't there some weird stuff about Nicole's father being embroiled in some dodgy cult stuff. Then he was found dead. I can't remember whether it was proven wrong/nutters but there were rumours. Personally i think her mother's dead hit her incredibly hard and she must think life is too short to be miserable.

I wondered why they hell she made this film when she can afford to pick and choose her roles. The sex scenes are utterly cringe and the age gap just grim as fuck
I can’t imagine what her poor daughters think of it.
