What’s for Dinner/Tea?

I don’t fancy what’s on the meal plan*! I’ll probably end up having it, unless someone inspires me - so, what are YOU having (or what’ve you had) for dinner/tea tonight?

• it was meant to be omelette, wedges and salad. I just can’t be bothered 😭 When I win the lottery, first thing I’m doing is employing a personal chef!

I should be sensible and make Thai Red curry with the things I have in. But I'm tired, today is payday and I've already had a glass of wine so uber eats is beckoning...

Homemade Chinese food. Chicken fried rice, chicken and vegetables stir-fry.

Corned beef hash, crusty bread and red cabbage. Rhubarb and apple crumble and double cream

I ended up making spinach and mushroom lasagne as I had forgotten I had fresh lasagne sheets that needed to be used.

Not sure what happened but it was awful.

I made a beef ragu, I have also made mars bar cake so may have a slice of that soon!

DH and I had baked potatoes tonight. DC had macaroni cheese, there was a good spoonful of macaroni left over so added it to my potato with more cheese on top. DH had beans and cheese on his.

Tonight I pan fried some salmon fillets, I steamed some broccoli and I did some air fryer chips to go with it because I CBA. I bought some hollandaise to go with it but it was weird as Tesco seems to think it has double cream in it.

I am CBA tonight. So it's breakfast for dinner. Which for the DCs mean sausages, scrambled eggs, potato waffles and for me will mean scrambled eggs, toast and grilled tomatoes.

Pudding will be grilled pineapple and marscapone because I need to use up both those things also.

DH will have more of the lasagne which he liked.

Had lots of deep fried beige food out with wine. Tasty as anything and quite posh but basically deep fried beige. Today I’ll have to have a vegetable!
