What’s for Dinner/Tea?

I don’t fancy what’s on the meal plan*! I’ll probably end up having it, unless someone inspires me - so, what are YOU having (or what’ve you had) for dinner/tea tonight?

  • it was meant to be omelette, wedges and salad. I just can’t be bothered 😭 When I win the lottery, first thing I’m doing is employing a personal chef!

Oops , it was from Delalicious

Judellie · 25/09/2025 22:01

I did salmon and rice with carrots, onions and peas and addded salt, pepper and ginger. Had mine with soy sauce; the others had teriyaki with theirs

TheLadyIsAVamp · 25/09/2025 22:03

Satay chicken ramen bowls. Itsu chicken broth heated up with coconut milk, peanut butter and Jimmy's satay paste. Noodles, tenderstem broccoli, carrot ribbons and mangetout. Topped with grilled chicken breast marinated in soy, garlic and ginger, loads of spring onion and coriander and garlic chillies crisp. I also did some gyoza but I didn't have any. I precooked the chicken and the rest took less than 10 minutes.

Quorn teriyaki stir fry (pepper, corn, spring onions, mangetout), with noodles. :-)

some lovely dinners here. I'd love the chicken satay ramen.

We are having lamb chops, baby potatoes, asparagus, peas onion gravy and mint sauce. one of my favourite dinners.

DH and I are having mushroom stroganoff tonight and the DCs are having chicken tenders with rice and vegetables.

Thats it, never had a bad meal out of there tbh. Or mcques in bannockburn but I haven't been there for a good while.

we normally to Mcques for family things its easy for us to meet up, I wish Stirling had some of the nicer chains, we do have good Indian reasturants tbf.

ViciousCurrentBun · 26/09/2025 08:50

We are away in our Motorhome pitched by the side of a lake. We are having stir fried veg, egg noodles and salmon fillets with a little teriyaki sauce on later and some little blueberry tarts.

Definitely, theres really only the Indian restaurants that you mentioned, the one next to the old pictures at Allanpark is nice. We tried tjs with the kids the other year and it wasnt good, expensive too. A wee las iguanas would do me good, 😆. Funny thats where we meet up as a family too and we always use it for funeral teas, i used to live next door to the spar when I was born, right across the road from mcques.

WHEN you win! Love that lol 😂 I think stuff like this all the time. Got to have the faith 🤞 for you (and me). I’ve got it on for tonight think it’s like over a hundred million! What would be your first request from your chef? Mine would be lobster Thermidor - I mean how would you even go about cooking that at home I’d have no clue! But it’s my fave whenever we go somewhere fancy

Simonjt · 26/09/2025 16:40

A really crappy veggie burger and chips at the airport, well the burger was crap, the chips were actually very nice.

toomanydicksonthedancefloor1 · 26/09/2025 16:48

I love omelettes! I would ditch the wedges and have the omelette with some baked beans and a couple of slices of bread and butter.

ItsFridayIminLoveJS · 26/09/2025 16:51

gingercat02 · 26/09/2025 18:42

Chicken burgers from an occasional pop up at a local restaurant. They are huge, epic and made from scratch even the buns. So excited. Pickup 7:15

AdaColeman · 26/09/2025 18:51

Spicy puy lentil stew topped with mozzarella knots, with ice cream for pudding.
