Apparently, he doesn’t take the presidential salary - there will clearly be some insane and grifting reason for this but I don’t know what.

I am beyond appalled at the demolition of the East Wing after Trump promising none of the existing structure would be touched. His promise is worth nothing. Apparently, it is the public entrance, the offices of the First Lady (obviously not needed for Melania as she lives in NY), and underground bunkers used during the War.
The fact the ballroom is being funded by oligarchs, donors and friends of Trump is appalling.
I honestly hope that the next Dem incumbent knocks the whole thing down.

I don't know how much of this is PR, but Melania Trump has been involved with a foster children support scheme, something else to do with online awareness for children, the thing with AI(which I didn't understand) and she also does quite a few appearances at events to do with women or children. So quite active it would seem.
As an aside, a friend of a friend of a friend, attended an awards event celebrating women in business/creative activities. She was delighted and surprised to actually win a prize of some sort and it was interesting that Melania Trump handed her the award directly and they had a brief chat. Apparently she was very friendly and engaging.
She does seem to come into her own and more relaxed when she is on her own, interacting with children or other women.
I don't know why she had a book published or why she is doing the Amazon documentary. It can't be for money, she has plenty. I doubt these are genuine, truthful representations of real Melania.
Hard to tell how much is pretending and how much is a genuine working persona.
I think she is being utilised as a perfect beautiful prop to give credibility to Donald Trump. She is happy to play the role and does it to perfection. I am also certain she absolutely entirely in agreement with his style of operating as a president and she acts play in all public appearances.

I still don’t know why all the focus is on Prince Andrew. There were many others on the plane and on the island. “Friends” of Epstein.

If, as it now seems, as well as flat out lying about what the work actually involved he didn't bother to get planning permission before starting on it, he may end up having to restore it to how it was. Since he won't have the money for that, someone else will have to.

I can't stand Melania... there, I've said it. She pushed and pushed on the Obama birther stories giving interviews and I lost faith in her then. She obviously dislikes her husband greatly and has sold her soul to the devil.

Because he's the British guy who is known about and that we, as a nation can formally censure. Mandelson was stripped of his diplomatic role by the government when his sycophantic entry in the birthday book was made public. I'm sure any other brits in high places will be knocked down a few rungs if they were exposed to be overly pally with the creep. We can do sod all about the Americans, though.
