Does anyone else LOVE winter?

I’m so excited the nights are drawing in. I love winter. I love it getting dark early. šŸŒ™ Love candles šŸ•Æļø and the fire on. šŸ”„ I love the orange leaves on the ground.

For me also I’m less busy at work. It’s my husbands birthday and mine and my adult kids too. We go away on holiday in winter.

And of course there’s Christmas…..šŸŽ…

I love Winter apart from having to drive after going out. Or if the heating suddenly stops working..

I’ve loved every season this year. Gorgeous spring, lovely hot summer, and currently experiencing beautiful crisp cold blue sky mornings. I usually despair at the weather but this year has been incredible and I’ve made the most of every second. Normally summer is a wash out but this year I feel ready for autumn as we have had months of beautiful sunny weather. Bring it on

Nope.

This time of year is OK. November and December can fuck off. January better as the light is coming back.

100% this! Love the daylight coming back in January and the promise of Spring 🌸

I prefer Spring and Autumn to the extremes of Winter and Summer, but at least in Winter it’s a bit easier to warm up the house than it is to cool it in summer.

@fastingforweightloss do you know about the annual Nigel Slater read-a-long on the Christmas board?

Yes, that's how I feel, spring and autumn are better than summer and winter. I've been on the Nigel Slater threads for years and they work for both winter lovers (embrace the cosy stuff) and those like me who find winter depressing (make it much more bearable).
