Why is no-one talking about the d4vd situation?

Every update I see makes me feel physically sick.

Even if he’s innocent there’s no coming back from this.

Bodies decompose quickly in a hot car. Even faster if they have been dismembered.

D4vd’s first tour stop was Atlanta, GA on 15th August.

His abandoned car was discovered on 8th September due to reports of the smell coming from a lock up.

The body wasn’t too badly decomposed for them to note since she went missing just before her 14th birthday, she gained a tattoo that matches a tattoo he also has.

LA PD thought there was enough evidence to issue a search warrant and seize all his devices on 17 September.

He then cancels his tour, right before he is due to leave the country.

He is a “person of interest” for sure.

As to why?
Maybe the murderer was as stupid as an ex of mine who thought plastic bin bags stop all bad smells.

Who knows? The forensic report will have more answers. I really feel for the family of Celeste though. Whoever kidnapped and murdered her should be caught and get a life sentence.

I wondered if it was actually his car. I mean yes, registered to him - but bought for someone else in the girls family. If he was bribing people to keep quiet that seems even more likely.

I can't understand how anyone could be so stupid as to abandon their own car with a body in it OR why he's not been arrested - but maybe it's not as black and white as it seems.

Given the unusual spelling of his name, I’d wager that just typing in D4vd would be sufficient.

She was officially missing 18 months but her friends hadn't seen her since August.

What has happened (and the alleged info that continues to come out) is incredibly disturbing. When they first found the body, there was a rumour that his car was stolen, so I hadn't really thought it could actually be his doing. But everything I've seen online these last few days is so disturbing. Poor girl.

From what I've seen, it looks like he had been grooming Celeste since she was 11, and their "relationship" was well known amongst their online circle. They were allegedly in the same Discord server (I believe this was a Discord solely for David's fans? I could be wrong) where their interactions were common knowledge. I've just found this screenshot of a message the Mods sent out on this discord server, I feel like this says everything about their alleged relationship?

Your question was why is no one taking about it. The answer to the question is that many people don’t know about it.

No one is desperate for attention but explaining that many people don’t know who this person is or what they have done.

Apparently it was partial remains found in the car. If you google you can find out the type of car and the storage space it has.

No one is talking about it because we’ve never heard of him, not seen a single thing in British media. He’s not famous here so nobody will have picked up on any stories

Clearly he's not well known because most people on this thread haven't heard of him, which is a fairly representative sample. People aren't lying.

I think the answer may lie in the fact he’s not that well known in the U.K.
