I think so. When it briefly became 10 the other week and we couldn’t name them, I was actually joking when I said we hadn’t counted the ones that we hadn’t heard of because they’d stopped before they started.It wasn’t actually supposed to become reality.

And again, thank God they didn’t elect the demented old guy who mixed up words occasionally. He would have been really unsuitable to be President.

It seems proof to me that DT is a thin-skinned humourless narcissist, who ran for President not just to make himself and his family and mates rich, but as revenge on anyone anywhere who dissed him even slightly. Completely the wrong sort of character to be the President of a democratic country, and yet, here we are.

I'm not feeling as optimistic as Robert Reich. I would be ecstatic if the giant is truly awakening but I fear there are too many lost souls who can't /won't ever unhook themselves from MAGA.

I don't know – the news round-up from the WP this morning suggests the beast that is US public opinion is maybe, possibly starting to turn.

Unfortunately, I'm a (gloomy) proponent of the theory that the less popular he gets, the more dangerous he is. I think they know things won't go well for them if they get unseated, so will do everything possible to prevent that outcome.
