It can’t just be misplaced good manners which keep everyone toadying up to him, can it? Had this discussion this morning again, why does nobody just say "no, go away, you big bully, you’re wrong and stupid and we disagree, go and mess up your own country if you must but leave us alone, we don’t want or need you”? He can’t have some secret hold over every single head of state or mandarin he meets, can he?

I thought Wes Streeting today on the issue of paracetamol and autism was actually quite strong. Essentially saying people should absolutely ignore what Trump is saying.

Obama needs to start posting wearing his Nobel Peace Prize ostentatiously in shot. Nothing incendiary. Maybe just a comment on the weather in Idaho or the price of fish in Boston.
