My new cat sitter is someone I know very well - we got our cats from the same place. She's definitely not a Reform voting flag shagger, so all is well.

I can put my money wherever I want to...

Absolutely, you can.

Must have been a trifle awkward though - ‘I am ditching you as my cat sitter, because you are Reform voting flag shagger’.

Rod Stewart has a go at Ed Davey for refusing to attend the Trump state dinner saying that Trump is the only one who can bring peace to Ukraine...

Edited

Rod Stewart really needs to pipe down and mind his own business.

Speaking of Trump.

Not in the least - I haven't needed a cat sitted for over 2 years because I've not lived alone. And now I've found someone else. Not rocket science, nobody has hurt feelings.

The vetting system is not functioning very well, is it?

How is Reform going to manage the thousands of candidates it needs to field next year?

This is why I can’t get my knickers in a twist about all the predictions of a Reform government. They’re incapable of even finding a few hundred councillors who don’t let them down in some way or another. The best of them are incompetent and those are precious few. They’re an absolute joke.

We're doing OK with cutters of hair for now. I can set the world to rights with my hairdresser and the men of the house are currently being shorn by a lovely gentle Palestinian guy who gave DS2 his first ever cut and shave in an actual barbers, this afternoon without fuss or drama. He's been having it cut at school for the past 7 years. I think he was disappointed that he didn't get his nails done, though, as there is a nail parlour next door and he rabbited on about "nail and blooty" the entire time 😂

In the spirit of our ongoing chats- If you think that the law needs to change so that broadcasters are forced to ensure that all parties have a proportionate amount of airtime outside of election periods, there is currently a petition you can sign at https://bit.ly/4p0QXOY

Petition: Ensure plurality of political coverage across UK broadcast media at all times

We want to ensure that a plurality of views from all political parties in Westminster are represented and the nations parliaments are heard all year round, not just election times. The rules for coverage during elections should apply at all times.

How do you explain Reform’s polling stats?

Who said they ‘like’ Trump?

And how much damage to SME’s do you apportion to Reeves’s policies to date?

Ok, good. I was concerned that the Reform voting cat sitter was going to suffer financially owing to the withdrawal of your (non) business…

Lol..I had to ditch my "regular" cat sitter, that I havent used for two years, to gain kudos on an anonymous forum, about how good I am at silencing debate.
