And of the pubs he's listed, he's tweaked the names of a couple, but I definitely know of the Falcon, Roebuck, Albion, (Dog and) Partridge, Gay Gordon, Neville's Wine Bar (although in reality it was called Jacques Wine Bar), the Cow's Head (really the Old Boar's Head) and the (Dusty) Miller. Most have shut down but always makes me smile when she lists them off.

The nicest one by far was David Mitchell! Mathew Baynton was also lovely.

It was a disappointing experience to realise how nakedly transactional and self-obsessed famous performers and writers can be, but on the other hand relationships with important people are how they stay employed!
