Does anyone else really fancy Steve Coogan?

He is just so funny and so good looking.

I just saw his Kate Bush medley from when he was much younger - has he ever been truly celebrated for how good looking he is?

Urgh no he's disgusting. Nasty attitude to women too - Google his past exploits.

I kind of fancy Steve Coogan, but I’m genuinely in love with Alan Partridge.

I constantly listen to ‘From the Oasthouse’ or any of the AP audiobooks. I just love him. I could totally see myself with Alan.

Omg absolutely this. I love all the From the Oasthouses and Alan Partridge books and I'm very fond of Alan. I also really fancy Steve Coogan even though I accept he's probably a terrible person. Which I'm embarrassed to admit only makes him sexier.

He's so funny and attractive in The Trip.

Delatron · 25/08/2025 18:20

Yeah he’s not a nice person and I complete pest - I used to work at the BBC years ago and he was often in the pub after work. We would avoid him!

Nah. All yours. I think deep down he is Alan Partridge.

Cinaferna · 25/08/2025 18:26

He also looks uncannily like a truly horrible ex of mine who almost put me off men for life until I met DH.

TaborlinTheGreat · 25/08/2025 18:29

Ewww, no. Not even if he were lovely and didn't treat women appallingly. I find him slightly repulsive and don't think he's good-looking.

Needtosoundoffandbreathe · 25/08/2025 18:31

Even Alan Partridge has his moments...Much as Steve Coogan appeals, there are so many stories about him being an arsehole that I'm put off.

I fancy him, I bet he’s filthy 😄

Yes ! 😂

KPPlumbing · 25/08/2025 18:42

I don't think he's good looking, and I always like men with a bigger build than him, but really fancy him regardless.

I've often fantasised about being a single waitress working in one of the hotels he visits in The Trip, and he gives me the nod, and I knock on his door when my shift ends! 😅

TraceyDeacy · 25/08/2025 19:07

I am sure that he would be pleased to hear that @KPPlumbing

mumofoneAloneandwell · 25/08/2025 19:19

No sorry x

TraceyDeacy · 25/08/2025 19:42

No need to apologise!

Is he happy these days? Have things calmed down for him?

I rather like him.

EachandEveryone · 25/08/2025 20:04

Oh he’s super talented isn’t he? I saw him on stage recently and he was brilliant. I hope nothing awful ever comes out about him. I have heard he’s vile to work with though from numerous people.

ExitPursuedByBearGrylls · 25/08/2025 20:08

I think he got better with age in terms of looks. But agree his arrogance and attitude to women puts me off. I also feel he’d probably talk at you a lot.

KeepCalmAndCarryOnScrolling · 25/08/2025 20:09

Yes. Did you watch Chivalry?

Filthy as in… anyone remember that line from Les Liaisons Dangereuses when John Makkovich says ‘I have taught her to perform quite naturally acts that one would hesitate to request from a professional”? That sort of vibe. Like you’d be in bed with him and there’d be some really startling things on offer, but without any fanfare or ‘I’m really kinky, me’ he’d just do them. But also no pushback if you didn’t want to.

I may be overthinking this.

😂

NewsdeskJC · 25/08/2025 20:27

He has always given me the ick.
Strikes me as a massive fucking ego who never takes no for an answer.

LightDrizzle · 25/08/2025 20:35

I used to but he’s gone off a bit with age as most of us do. I’d still do young Steve, not that I’d get the chance as I doubt I’d ever have made his list even in my foxyish prime.

Age isn’t everything; I wouldn’t kick Ralph Fiennes or Zinedine Zidane out of bed and they must be knocking on a bit.

Well don’t forget his foot powder and the cream for his haemorrhoids. [hoiks bosoms whilst fixing you with a basilisk stare]

bluelamped · 25/08/2025 20:46

I think he's funny, clever and politically he's decent but he isn't good looking or even attractive. He's also got a history of somewhat sleazy behaviour.

Goldenbear · 25/08/2025 20:58

I think he's obviously talented but I did raise an eyebrow when watching the Chivalry comedy as I think it would be unlikely he would attract the interest of the character Sarah Solemani played, for a start he's 17 years older than her!!

Goldenbear · 25/08/2025 20:59

Personally, too old for me.
