It is beyond baffling that Zelenskyy is asked to sort out stopping the war - I don’t understand how that can be a ‘thing’.
Not sure the official reason for Putin being in Ukraine though tbh, does he officially state Ukraine is actually part of Russia so some should be ceded? (Know it isn’t actually part of Russia btw).

Yes @MsJinksPutin seems to be of the opinion that Ukraine is Russia, and they’re actually occupying his land, nuts.

It’s like if somebody breaks into to your house and attacks you, and then everybody says, just give the attacker your kitchen and it’ll stop (it won’t) and when you say I can’t, it’s part of my house, they say well you’re the one causing this then, look what you’ve done.

It is rather cowardly to talk to President Zelenskyy alone, when the heads of European states are there as well.

Weird, also. What has he got to say to the Ukrainian president that isn't for the ears of Europe? If the long overdue apology, why not let all hear?

Volodymyr Zelenskyy will once again forgo a traditional suit when he meets Donald Trump at the White House today, instead opting for a military-style outfit, one of his designers told POLITICO.

He had a black jacket (with lapels) on in video footage of the earlier pre-meeting of Ukraine and European leaders in the Ukrainian embassy. So definitely won't be a Saville Row suit and tie.

I’m not hopeful there is anyway of stopping this war while Putin’s hard red line involves land which is still in Ukranian hands. Zelensky cannot accept that. He knows what it means and why that particular piece of land is important to Putin. Unlike Trump who thinks Putin can be taken at his word. And will definitely not be rolling the tanks into the rest of Ukraine in 2 years time.
