Apparently former VPs are only entitled to Secret Service protection for 6 months after leaving office, but Joe Biden had issued an Executive Order before he left office extending Kamala’s entitlement. Trump has revoked this, along with the others he previously removed - the Biden children, Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, Dr Fauci, etc.

Also, the CDC remains in complete turmoil, but Trump and that awful Kennedy barrel on with their unscientific dictatorship, further ruining health care in the USA.
I am seeing questions asked as to why George W does not come out and outright condemn Trump, in order to get the GOP on side to halt what seems to be an unstoppable march towards despotic dictatorship. Why didn’t people believe Trump when he showed them his true self on many past occasions?
So many questions and as yet, no good answers.

Appeals court has rejected Trump's global tariffs.

A federal appeals court late Friday struck down the Trump administration’s signature tariffs, finding that the president had gone too far in his use of emergency powers to rewrite U.S. trade policy.
The ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit upheld a lower-court decision that undercuts a core tenet of President Trump’s economic agenda. The majority found the president overstepped his authority under a 1977 law known as the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, or Ieepa.

Regarding the appeals,

• Trump has a tantrum on Twitter
• US Government appeals
• When that becomes ineffective, he will go back to Congress to get the tariffs passed. Usually, I would be confident he would succeed (Republicans resemble a group of blancmange), but the tariffs will be biting home by this point and a lot of businesses that support then will be making the point vividly.

I'm also wondering how much longer he will appear in public. He veers off-topic and confabulates in every speech. I'm not convinced he drives much of the show now.

I saw comments earlier yesterday (before appeals ruling) that Drumpf's calendar was empty until after Monday. (Labour Day holiday weekend). So probably taking the opportunity to get pumped full of drugs and then cheat do a few rounds of golf - not necessarily in that order)
