How old were you when you became the same height as your parents?

Probably about 13/14 for me

My son was 10 when he overtook me. He is still a way off his dad though. I'm 5f2. My hubby is 6ft3.

I have no idea but my 12yr old DD is 1” off my 5ft 4

My 13yo was 5ft8. I was trying to remember when I actually stopped growing...not sure I was measured much after 14.

Never. My dad’s short arse genes screwed me over (he was 5’6”)

My daughter was 14 when she grew a little taller than me. Her dads short arse genes screwed her over (he is 5’10”)

I don't remember exactly but probably around 12 when I overtook my (short) mum and ended the same height as my dad.
with my kids, one DD hasn't grown taller than me, DS overtook me at 13, other DD overtook me at 14. I'm 5'10, so quite tall myself!

Never, still shorter.
I think dd was about 14 when she overtook me, but she is still shorter than her dad.

My 13 yr old will be taller than me by Christmas I am sure

About 12 I think, both my parents were 5ft 4, I’m 5ft 8.

DD is 11 and 3 months, she was 5ft 2 when I measured her on her birthday and based on her trouser legs she’s grown since then. She’s also wearing size 8 shoes now so I have a feeling she’s going to exceed my height.

I was about 11 or even younger when I overtook my mum, she's tiny, but my dad was 6ft 2, so never for him!

I overtook my mum at 12. She’s 5 foot 3 and I’m 5 foot 4. I then stopped growing. My dad was 6 foot.

my DS is 13 and already 5 foot 9 and still going. His dad is 6 foot 3 and he’s hoping to catch him up!

My Dad is 6' 2''. I will never catch up with him. Mum is tiny and I think I was probably 12/13, maybe even a bit younger.

It's funny because I'm a perfect mix of my parents heights at 5ft 6. Not short like mum, or tall like dad.

I never did. My Dad was 5'7" and my Mum 5'6". I am 5'2".

My Dad is still taller than me in my 40s. All my kids are taller than me apart from the 10 year old who is almost there.

My mum was tiny, barely 5 feet and i had an early growth spurt at about 10 or so, I overtook her then.
I was the tallest in my year around then. Mind you, I stopped at 5’4” when i was about 12.

im still shorter than them & my niece over took me at 11

My Mum and I are the same height 5’8 but I never grew taller than my dad (around 5’11).
My dds never quite grew as tall as me, one stopped at 5’6 and one at 5’7 so close! Youngest is 13, has grown about 4 inches since their birthday last year and is now a good 2 inches taller than me. I think he’ll be taller than his dad by Christmas if he keeps growing at this rate 😂

I am mid-50s, in the last few years my mum has shrunk below my height.

I'm just about 5' 7'' - yes definitely ended up in the middle of the two!
