How old were you when you became the same height as your parents?

Probably about 13/14 for me

Same, mid 30s and still waiting!

I was about 12 when I got taller than my mum. And my dd was about 12 when she got taller than me. My ds was taller than me before that.

God knows what they’d call me at 5ft 1 🤣

I never did. Both parents taller than me.

I’m shorter than both my parents. I’m 5’2” and my mum’s 5’4”. My dad was about 5’7”.

I never did. I’m the shortest member of the family. My niece was overjoyed when she overtook me at about 12. She’s now stopped growing at the towering height of 5’4. Ha!

I never did my mum is 5 inches taller than me, and my 9 year old is now taller than me. My teens take great joy in lifting down high up things for me and pointing out they are much taller.

My mum was 4ft 10ins. I passed her at about 14. I never grew as tall as my 6ft dad, stopping a foot shorter.

My sons passed me when they were 11 or so; my granddaughters at 13, 12 (2 of them), and 11 -she’s now 14 and towers over me even when I’m wearing 5 inch heels. The youngest who is 8 measures herself against me at least monthly, and I think she will reach my height before she starts senior school.

I never did.
Ds 1 and 2 were both about 12 when they passed me.
Dds ambition was to be taller than me, she passed me aged 14.

I overtook my mum at about 13, I think. She's about 5'3. At 5' 10 I'm taller than my dad now as he's elderly and has shrunk. My three sons were all taller than me by 14, they were delighted to overtake me! They're all over 6ft.

I past my mum when I was about 13/14, I never passed my dad. Both my dc (DS& DD) passed me when they were similar ages. Neither caught their dad though. I’m the shortest by a long way at 5’7”.

Never. Both me and my Brother ended up short. Probably down a childhood in Poverty.

I was a slow grower and continued growing until my early 20s. I think I was about 23 when I realised that I was the same height as my mum (5' 3"). That's as far as I got.

Two of my grandchildren (aged 14 and 11) are already taller than I am.

About 13 and stopped growing- we are all roughly the same height (roughly average height in UK) My eldest kid overtook me at 12, middle is close to taking over at 11, and my youngest has been the tallest at each stage since birth compared to her siblings and so prob 10.

Can't remember when I outgrew my mum (5'7), maybe by 11yo? Outgrew dad (6ft) at 14 when I hit 6'1. I eventually stopped at 6'3.

I didn't , my mum was about 5 .5 , my dad about 5.9 . I'm 5ft .

I was taller than my DM by 13 she was only 5ft2. Im 5ft 9. My dad was 6ft1 but has shrunk a tad in old age.
