How old were you when you became the same height as your parents?

Probably about 13/14 for me

I've never been my dad's height, I was one inch shorter at 13. And I'm now two inches shorter!

I guess I must have been about 11 when I was my mum's height?

Me either and my mum wasn't even 5ft!

My own kids were 12 or 13, but lots of their friends were bigger than me when they were 9 or 10!

I’m the same as my mum, never overtook Dad.
I think around 12/13 I stopped growing, for girls they don’t usually get very much taller once periods start. There are exceptions obviously but I wasn’t one.

About 14 or 15 for my mum, I’m 5 foot 7 and she was 5 foot 5, my dad never, he was 5 feet 9.

3 of my dc are now as tall as or taller than me. Dd2 and 3 dad is 5 ft 11 and they are 5 ft 8.

strangely though ds and dd1 dad is 5 ft 5 . Ds is 5ft 10 and dd is 5ft 4. Quite a difference.

Both of their grandads and four great grandads were all quite tall and all of the female grandparents are small so they both take after those .

Never as a teenager. My mum was 3" taller than me and my dad was about 5" taller. But now, in my 40s, my mum is shorter than me! Dad is still a bit taller than me, for now.

Must have been 15 when I had a big growth spurt and would have passed my mum (who was 5'6") but I never caught up with my dad who was 6'4". I'm 5'10.5".

I'm reasonably tall 5'8" ish, dd has just overtaken me at age 14 yrs 1 month.

My DM is 5ft, so I outgrew her at primary school, probably!

My DF is 6ft 3" and I've never achieved that.

Do both your parents have dwarfism? I've often thought it must be so tricky parenting if you have dwarfism and your kids don't!

My son is now just taller than me at 12.

About 11. Parents are both under 5ft 5. I am definitely not 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

My mum is tiny so I was about 9 😅. My DD is 12.5 and has just reached my height of 5’6

My DD is 11 and she's nearly as tall as me. DS is 7 and has incredibly long legs so I reckon he'll tower over me by the time he's a teenager! DH is 5ft 11 so not a giant, but he has long legs as well.

I never did. My mam was 5"6 and the shortest in her family. I'm 5 3 n half and the shortest in mine. Although, I was the second tallest in junior school when I was about 10..

Late 30s for my mum and I think I'm about the same height as my dad now in my mid 40s. They must have shrunk 3-4 inches.

First brother just made it to our dad's height
