Quiet fireworks should be encouraged with something like lower VAT. That would focus minds.

We love thunder and lightning storms and have had a few this year. Pets not affected by the least. Really noisy fireworks always on 5th or feckin New Year's are just awful. Because it's endless.

I agree @Alexandra2001. I’d like to see her sacked - and as quickly and publicly as possible.

They need to confirm accuracy of reporting first. Due process and all that. But if correct then absolutely sacked.

I don’t think there’s much doubt about it. She hasn’t denied it and is trying to pin the blame for the attempt to extort money for cleaning and redecoration on the agents. Which kind of confirms that the reporting is factual.

Even is she evicted for valid reasons, putting the rent up by £700 was a very stupid thing to do when you are homelessness minister.

Pure greed, the previous rent is supposed to have been £3300 per month, so a 21% hike.....
