Android Update! Everything is different and I HATE change!

My Samsung Android phone did a system update last night. Absolutely everything looks different whether it's the text on FB, my app icons, even the battery percentage!! I Absolutely do not like change and this has made me irrationally angry! Anyone else?

I'm still refusing to do mine. Having "an update is ready to install" permanently on my screen is starting to annoy me but I hate change and with all the complaints about how bad it is I'm going to ignore it for as long as I can

I gave in today because of that.

I updated yesterday and seem to have lost the sensitivity on the microphone. This is a big issue for me as we're in the process of recording our neigbours noise for a complaint with the council.

I've tried everything Google suggests. I'm so annoyed!

Is the update still causing problems or have they fixed any glitches? I'm still holding out but my Gmail is now playing up and I'm assuming it's because I've not updated yet.

All the old things I hate are still there, its updated several more times since then including within the last week - so now have a new glitch where my widgets keep going black and it's only remedied by deleting and putting them on again...🙄

The fast battery draining was fixed quite quickly though - via another update!

Apparently Google are now asking Gemini to design it's UI. Because "AI" is much faster at making things degrade.

The word we all need is "enshittification"

I miss the 2010s 😭

So does ChatGPT and Gemini. It's why they are trying to recreate them, That way we'll all go "wow"
