Am I missing something re the Liverpool driver who caused the injuries

My prayers are with the injured and I hope they all make a full recovery and justice for their injuries.

What I don't understand is that the photo the police have released is of a bald headed man. Yet the court artist has drawn a picture and he had a lot of hair which is described as going grey.
Is the photo released from years ago and he's had a hair transplant.

Isn’t it obvious? Years ago he had his hair buzz-cut extremely short, but has since grown out the top and it flops forward. We all go grey over time. He’s 53! He still has a receding hairline.

The photo looked old (ie from when he was younger).
Hair grows back.

It’s weird - look at the images from the day, then the guy - the guy is far more bald and has a much larger / deeper widows peak than the image of the driver from the day!

Unless he’s had a hair transplant it’s not the same guy.

What image from the day? The footage shows a blur!

The police won’t have released the image, it will be one that the press have found of him online from whenever it was originally posted. And as everyone else has said, it is blindingly obvious that hair can change over time! He had short hair in the past, now it’s longer and greying, due to the passage of time and aging!

How could you tell? In the video/pictures online his head was about 12 pixels!

They’re STILL saying that. Apparently it’s some sort of government plot. I’m not entirely sure why, as they all seem quite mad.

In the photo his head is shaved, now it's not. He was a Royal Marine, iirc they have to have v short hair so maybe the photo is from that time & he went for a 'belt and braces' all-off shave.
It really is the least important thing to be focusing on.

There were lots of people there, if they’ve got the wrong man someone who saw him driving would say, I presume he is also registered to the car.

The whole thing is weird though, I hope we get to find out why he did it because it just makes no sense.

I once got caught in my car outside a football stadium just as all the fans started leaving and some hit the car, it wasn’t pleasant but I just sat there for a bit until the crowd cleared.
