Gosh that's stunning

Gawdimold · 19/05/2025 16:56

Stunning

FrenchandSaunders · 19/05/2025 16:59

Amazing!

FrenchandSaunders · 19/05/2025 17:00

Do you think they paid an interior designer or maybe they are one!

MH0084 · 19/05/2025 17:00

Very nice despite the unusual placement of random size rugs!

Raspberrymoon49 · 19/05/2025 17:01

Gorgeous

CaptainMyCaptain · 19/05/2025 17:02

Beautiful.

AgnesX · 19/05/2025 17:04

Glasgow has some beautiful property.

If only 💞

Triptothepark · 19/05/2025 17:07

Gorgeous!

MiddleAgedDread · 19/05/2025 17:08

It's beautiful but it's rarely that light in Glasgow ;)

DoreenCorkhill · 19/05/2025 17:09

It’s the ‘Windows in the West ‘ block I think . April Paton’s painting .Hung in my dining room for years then I gave it away ! Lovely flat .

BeNiceWhenItsFinished · 19/05/2025 17:11

I love the room with the piano in it.

alcoholnightmare · 19/05/2025 17:12

My ex and I sold our small 3 bed in (central) Winchester for that price 6 years ago… Scotland prices are amazing!

GeorgianaM · 19/05/2025 17:15

Spoilt by the garish paint choices, cheap rugs and ghastly metro tiles. The white metro tiles in the fireplace are an abomination.

Kugelblitz · 19/05/2025 17:15

Reckon the owners are in the music bizz ? With the grand piano and the shelves full of sheet music ?

Wow, what a home!

TokyoSushi · 19/05/2025 17:16

Oh how lovely!

TheCurious0range · 19/05/2025 17:17

Beautiful property, a touch too much blue for me, but I love the style. I'd also want to open up the fireplace to make it usable

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 19/05/2025 17:23

That is lovely, seems cheap! How does “offers over” usually translate into actual prices? Would you expect to pay roughly that price or quite a lot more?

Spirallingdownwards · 19/05/2025 17:25

Lovely but still improvements I can see in my head!

WhistlerInHisStudio · 19/05/2025 17:25

That takes me back! My best friend at school used to live in Saltoun Street. Houses didn’t look like that in the 60s & 70s

PoodlesRUs · 19/05/2025 17:26

They've ruined the fireplaces and the grey walls are, imo, a plain old mistake. Otherwise, it's a great property.

For a property like this in Glasgow, I think they could probably expect anywhere between 10-20% over.

Our last house pruchase in Glasgow we paid 18% over and were only third in line (ended up getting it due to chain falling through).

Game0fCrones · 19/05/2025 17:43

Great bones, disappointing ceiling lights and furnishings. I expected it to be grander than that.

Feetinthegrass · 19/05/2025 17:44

It’s hideous - especially the bright yellow room and random shades of blue. It could be stunning, given the architecture and period features.
