No inspiration and I have run out of ideas.

We had curry last night.

I have a cauliflower in the fridge.

What are you having and what should I buy in Tesco later?

We’re having a rotisserie chicken with salad. Cooked the chicken last night but didn’t fancy it so ended up having a Chinese!

Muchtoomuchtodo · 05/05/2025 11:19

We’re having a bbq. It’s a lot cooler here today though so I think we’ll be eating indoors.

Slowmoles · 05/05/2025 11:20

Just marinated a load of chicken for souvlaki - will have with pittas and salad

maddiemookins16mum · 05/05/2025 11:21

I’ve got leftover Gammon from yesterday so we’re having it cold with chips and egg.

zingally · 05/05/2025 11:31

Kiddy freezer tea probably. We're trying to "eat out the freezer" to do a big re-stock next month. Probably turkey dinos, mash and frozen veg.

Slow cooked pulled pork tacos with pineapple salsa and avocado, just got the pork in in the oven, should be ready by 6 fingers crossed.

MinnieMountain · 05/05/2025 11:34

Also a BBQ. Chicken, burgers, sausages, Greek salad and watermelon and holoumi salad.

ShiftySquirrel · 05/05/2025 11:35

Bangers, mash and gravy. It's cold and grey here.

RabbitsRock · 05/05/2025 11:36

No idea! DH did say he might make omelettes (we have a big pack of ham)

afaloren · 05/05/2025 11:36

We are making a chicken, butternut squash and chorizo traybake thing I saw on BBC Good Food. Hope it’s nice.

Witchywoo41 · 05/05/2025 11:41

We’re having a roast chicken dinner, we went out yesterday so didn’t have it then

DeathMetalMum · 05/05/2025 11:41

Pulled pork burgers, with wedges and sweetcorn. We normally do corn on the cob but dd1 recently had braces fitted. I will have coleslaw with mine dc will not.

I put the pork in the slow cooker this morning around 9am. We will have leftovers which I will have for lunch and a few portions for the freezer.

longtompot · 05/05/2025 11:47

Aloo gobi using Felicity Cloakes recipe. Hers are usually good so I hope this is too. I try to do something meat free every Monday, though when it was Easter Monday we had a roast dinner, so we had meat free Tuesday instead.

Ooooh - do you have a link? I have chicken breast in the freezer along with butternut squash and some chorizo lying around some. A tray bake sounds good. I can’t be bothered to cook much today.
