The duller the better!

I’ll start… I couldn’t decide which yoghurt to have, so had a few spoonfuls of both. Cherry, then Mango and Passionfruit.

I went to the tip. Since I was going anyway, I filled a black bag with litter first, to take with me.

Just having a cup of decaffeinated tea, I need to buy some new mugs as a few are getting old. Some are still OK though.

Just marked some progress tests for my beginner English group. There has not been much progress. Think this level is too hard for them!

I accidentally fell asleep just after 9pm so I’ve now been awake since 3am. Thankfully I don’t have anything on today so I can plan a nice nap later to get myself through the day.

An excellent day for line-drying here.

just did gardening, cutting down the elder berry bush, or whatever it is, I always get a huge itchy reaction afterwards.

turns out it wasnt elder - it was common Dogwood, and known for making those sensitive among us itch!

i do feel guilty now that i pruned it

I have spent today dozing on and off, which is a pity as I had lots of plans for today. Unfortunately I have covid and that has rendered me very tired.

I did manage to sit outside briefly, but covid has brought me out in spots and I discovered the sunlight makes them itchy.

Was looking out of the window today and saw 5 white vans all drive past in a row, realise the road was blocked, and turn around and drive back the way they came. I enjoyed watching that as a momentary distraction.

i have become addicted to rosette apples,
they are the same colour inside as out, and are delicious
i have been buying them for 3 days in a row now,
apparently their availability is only 2 weeks so off to the shops again tomorrow

I'm procrastinating phoning the council as we have just moved and don't seem to be on the council tax bill register yet and I don't want council tax it to build up. Happily browsing Mumsnet threads instead, this one always gives joy!

I woke up with a bit of a headache and took a couple of paracetamol. Feeling better now so we’re are off to buy some uniform. I’m annoyed I’ve left it this late.

I just watched the 50th episode of Grange Hill. Working my way through it at a fair speed.

I can't decide whether to have tuna mayo or prawns in my jacket potato tonight.

I need to puff up the sofa cushions but I just can’t be bothered.

I did a very powerful sneeze earlier. I was quite impressed, everyone else were less impressed.

I got home very late from darts last night and realised we were almost out of bread and milk so ended up waiting for a delivery from the local 24h garage at 2am. Drunk me was remarkably sensible apart from the amount of crisps I ordered (3 different multipacks LOL).

I changed my baby from size 3 to size 4 nappies and the new ones look less absorbent.

I can't be bothered to cook so the kids are having KFC that the oldest is bringing back on her way from work.

My brother invited me to play pool but I said no because I was really tired when I got home but I've got a second wind now and wondering whether I should change my mind.

I lost to DS twice today, playing Super Mario Party. I usually beat him so not sure if this is him improving, or me entering my age of decline.

Went to the garden centre today but didn't buy anything. It rained on the way home.
