The duller the better!

I’ll start… I couldn’t decide which yoghurt to have, so had a few spoonfuls of both. Cherry, then Mango and Passionfruit.

Cleaning the bathroom, the downstairs toilet, the cats’ water fountain and finally their litter trays! We had to go out and buy more cat litter, as the supermarket didn’t have the one they are used to, on Friday night! To get ready to go on holiday - a neighbour looks after the cats for us.

We can’t leave the cats to deal with dirty equipment, which might offend their delicate sensibilities! I had to explain to DH, cats like their routine and it was no time to expect them to cope with a new type of litter, with us gone!

My soup was a bit bland. Thought about adding black pepper. I didn't in the end.

I changed my user pic on Facebook.

We built a box to keep our recycling bags in.

I kept trying to switch my dishwasher on but it is a bit temperamental so it didn’t actually start working until the fourth or fifth attempt.

We have the military staying next door to my workplace at the moment because there's Nato practices going on in the airfield, so every day when I drive through the gate the little guard man comes out of his little hut to see who's come in through the gate (just looks for a moment), then turns around and goes back in. But today he did not come out. Perhaps he's ill? It was very foggy so maybe he just didn't want to come out.

We had chicken wings for dinner. Our rather naughty doggy decided to help himself to the bones that hadn’t been put into the food waste bin yet as soon as we weren’t looking. 🙈

Oh dear!

i'm on annual leave so i took off the sofa seat cushions and vacuumed it.

I asked DH if he wanted to go and see the John Lewis sofas we've been looking at online in real life. He said "yes, when?". I said "Maybe after work but I don't know which show room they're in. The website says to ring to find out, so I'll do that tomorrow" He said "ok, sounds like a plan".

DH is industriously hoovering up the fallen leaves on the lawn with the sucker thingy and I am watching him whilst drinking a cup it tea and admiring his workmanship.

I had a very nice gluten free burger at McDonald's today but I wish I had specified no ketchup as there was way too much ketchup in it, which overwhelmed all the other flavours.

Went to Tesco to get some small bottles of sparkling water - they didn't have Ashbeck so I got Highland Spring instead.

I couldn’t find a battery operated bubble machine today. I need it for tomorrow.

I bought a pair of cheap but unusual earrings at TK Maxx a few weeks ago to match an outfit I was planning to wear to a posh venue but I ended up wearing a different outfit so hadn't worn them. I've just put them in this morning because they go well with my cardigan and they look amazing. I think they are my new favourite earrings.

I am fizz-less. Argos gave me the wrong gas cannister for my Sodastream so now I have to find the receipt and go back to the shop to swop for the right one.

@NormasArseThese are usually available in The Works if you have one you can get to? I have a lot of gardening to do today after I have had a cup of tea.

I went to the post office today to pick up a parcel, was my order of books - my favourite kind of parcel to open is a parcel of books!

I’ve spent two hours playing block blast, I had the odd break to post on mn

I enjoyed myself thoroughly as I was listing to Elis and John at the same time

I put Mum's clean sofa covers back on, looks good 👍

Ive put most of my summer clothes away into a vac pack ready for next summer or if we go away to somewhere warm before then.
Other clothes have been put into piles ready to sell or donate.
Dh cleared the shed out.

I found a carrier bag full of black opaque tights when tidying the bedroom today but on inspection, they'd seen better days so I threw them out. Later on I went to Sainsburys to buy some trout fillets for dinner.

Washed the towels earlier and they’re all dry now.

Went to Dunelm and bought a new duvet cover to send to DD at uni. Highland cows with halloween hats on, she'll love it.

Then I went to B & M and bought random shite to make my office look a bit nicer, and too many sweets.
