The duller the better!

I’ll start… I couldn’t decide which yoghurt to have, so had a few spoonfuls of both. Cherry, then Mango and Passionfruit.

I ordered some cheap Papermate pens from Amazon as they were 46% off.

The M62 was really quiet today for a Sunday and my husband and I have been trying to work out why.

Had a lazy day didn't get dressed had a shower and put clean pj's on instead

it took me 7 hours on public transport to get home from visiting. missed my connecting train by 3 minutes.

l went out without any knickers on.

New person started at work today. I said hello as I walked past. That'll do for an introduction.

I bought some bananas and some were riper than others.

my dh made sour dough, i am not very keen on it, i have not told him.

Changed my mind, that wouldn't do for an introduction so I also told him he's not allowed to sit on my seat at the coffee table so now he should be suitably wary of me.

I have a very small splinter in my finger and I can't get it out.

My landline rang today, seemingly the first time in forever. It was a wrong number.

Made my sneaky pre-supper sandwich with hard butter straight from the fridge that made holes in the bread. I had to hold it squashed with both hands so the cheese didn't fall out. #classy

We had fast broadband installed today. DH has been having fun doing speed tests in every room of the house.

Is it as speedy as it ought to be? I find my internet is always slower than the speed the company claims it'll have. Lying bastards.

I am calculating how much time I will have in the mornings when I start going into work for 7 again while also getting DS up, breakfasted, and ready for school, instead of 8 as I am doing right now. It seems I will have approximately 10-15 minutes to myself, to drink a cup of tea and that is it. I am not happy about this but I also don't want to get up any earlier than I already do.

I have fixed the oscillating sprinkler this morning, so it now swings from side to side again without having to move it around.
Saves waste and money buying a new one.

I did some welding today. No injuries occurred.

Tbh I’m not sure what speed it’s meant to be but DH said we were at 70Mbps before and we were over 200 yesterday while it was still doing updates. He got around 150 in our bedroom which is the furthest part from the router, DD’s bedroom is beside ours and has always been a WiFi blackspot in the house (pre-war build with thick stone walls) and even with this it still isn’t great in her room so I think we will need a booster there for her but so far it’s definitely a lot faster than before. Just need the Sky box to keep connected to it as that was playing up a bit yesterday, the engineer said we would probably have it doing updates for the first 24 hours though so I can hopefully test it when I get home later.

I half painted a warhammer figurine today in solidarity with my DS who has decided it’s his new hobby.

I have collected several empty carrier bags from where they had been discarded around the house looking at you DH, folded them up and put them away.

Am now thinking about doing the washing up.

Can you come to my house and pick up all the carrier bags here next?

I have just woken up at MIL's and scared myself when I caught sight of myself in the massive mirror on the opposite wall. I've woken up far too early and everyone else is still asleep so I don't know what to do. I'd go walk outside but I'd have to walk through a room other people are sleeping in to get to the door so I can't do that.

I’m going to see my sister later today. Staying until Monday. We are soul mate siblings.

i used the washing up water to water my pots
and then the water used for cooking the blackberrries
i saved the water from cooking the potatoes but now rain is forecast today!

I may or may not wash my hair later.

I'm going to use up some leftover olives in my pasta meal tonight.
