The duller the better!

I’ll start… I couldn’t decide which yoghurt to have, so had a few spoonfuls of both. Cherry, then Mango and Passionfruit.

Just realised I repeated that apparently in that sentence too. 🙈 That’s what happens when I sneak onto MN during a play rehearsal and don’t pay full attention.

Today’s boring thing is that I’m having a 3 day heart monitor fitted today and my body has decided that 5 hours of sleep is enough, gave me a horrible nightmare and then wouldn’t let me get back to sleep so I’ll be absolutely knackered by the time of my appointment. Sigh.

I'm meeting my two oldest friends for lunch today. I only see them 3 or 4 times a year.

I borrowed Monopoly from the library today as I felt my children haven't really experienced a proper childhood until they've argued over this game and someone's thrown the board off the table.

bought some jellied eels, watched a you tube video on how to eat it, and we have All been put off eating one

I don't think I could try jellied eels. Rollmops are alright though, but I prefer my pickled herrings unrolled and in bite size pieces. Preferably with a taste of pine tar in the pickling.

I thought it was going to rain earlier, but it didn’t.

I've been meaning to practice the walk to school with DS all summer, and now summer is almost over (go back to school on Wednesday) so I am determined we will practice it after dinner today. But I don't want to, because I'm tired and its hot.

I also picked berries, and currants, today. There's so many growing at my brother's girlfriend's place.

I found a nice cat ornament for my collection in a charity shop today. #mad cat lady and proud 😻

I don’t want to alarm you all BUT I went to The Range and bought a new bath mat AND a new air freshener for the bathroom, I truly am living my best life 👏👏👏 I most certainly did not buy the dog a new Squeaky toy, a little red bow tie and some more of his favourite treats ( pigs ears) because he is the Goodest of good boys 😜

I'm supposed to be getting a lift to work with a colleague and he hasn't turned up yet. Supposed to pick me up 20 minutes ago. I think i might be rather late today.

Ordered a tuna and cheese melt. Thought I ordered a panini but it was a ciabatta. I ate it quietly.

I folded the clean washing.I may be adventurous and take it upstairs later.

I sat in extensive roadworks on a dual carriageway for ages. Relatively pleasant as kids asleep in the back, lovely countryside & Cabin Pressure on BBC Sounds.

Completed a jigsaw - there's a piece missing

My husband forgot to get the olives this morning to add to tonight's pasta dish, but it was OK because he nipped up to Tesco to get them while I had a bath.

I ate a lot of pasta.

I also had pasta tonight. Pesto pasta with a jar from M&S. We also have a jar from Lidl in the house and I was showing DH the difference in the ingredients and texture of them. Very important when it comes to our autistic 17yo. M&S is the way to go. Lidl is too lumpy.

I was looking at the back to school stationery today in Tesco Express when I had to queue for the Post Office counter. I thought there were some pretty good deals but didn’t need any so didn’t purchase any.

My sister has cancelled our plans for the 2nd Saturday running and wants to reschedule for next week. Hell no I'm not wasting another Saturday waiting around for her.

I discovered that they have every episode of Grange Hill on the Internet Archive so I am watching it now.

I bought them on DVD a few years ago and did the same thing - have fun!

I have finished the first series already, am enjoying it very much!

Been to the big Tesco. Been for a walk.
