The duller the better!

I’ll start… I couldn’t decide which yoghurt to have, so had a few spoonfuls of both. Cherry, then Mango and Passionfruit.

Couldn't remember if I'd already done this week's online grocery shop...spoiler alert - I had

sassyduck · 02/05/2025 14:06

Made 2 beds.

I don't think that's boring enough, that has potential to be a lot of fun!!

Fair point 😛

Lonelycrab · 02/05/2025 14:09

I saw a little baby frog in the garden. Then moments later just nearby, a little baby toad. Was wondering if they hang out together..,

What did you think of it?

I had always been a Coke, not Pepsi person, however I've vastly preferred Pepsi Max to any of the non-full fat Coke.

Yes!
Diet coke cola is just foul.

Today's boringness.

I couldn't decide if I wanted honey or caramel in my coffee this morning I made both and took one with me to go.

ithinkilikethislittlelife · 02/05/2025 14:12

I put the washing out this morning. It dried quickly in the sun so I ironed it and then put the ironing away. I was so chuffed I text my husband to tell him. I realised I after I text him I am boring as fuck. And that’s how I like it 😉

ureterr1blemuriel · 02/05/2025 14:13

I pulled off a toenail earlier (it was already loose from a half marathon). Randomly it looks better than the bruised nail there before.

FawnDrench · 02/05/2025 14:14

The snooker is on tv but I'm not watching it.

driedgrasses · 02/05/2025 14:15

I found a few greenfly on the cat so I squashed them.

Greentableleg · 02/05/2025 14:15

I decanted some shampoo into a travel sized bottle

BeNiceWhenItsFinished · 02/05/2025 14:16

My tea has gone lukewarm.

EverythingThatHappensWillHappenToday · 02/05/2025 14:18

I couldn't see anything I fancied for lunch, so I ate yesterday's leftover coleslaw (homemade) straight out of the dish. It was rather nice, too.

LetMeGoogleThat · 02/05/2025 14:18

Couldn't decide what to have on toast, so just had butter.

DoNoTakeNo · 02/05/2025 14:19

I bought some allegedly local strawberries from a farm shop that turned out to be very much not local based on the box there were in. We still ate them.

Hoppinggreen · 02/05/2025 14:19

My printer ran out of ink
Luckily I had a cartridge spare so I put it in
Then I ran out of paper
I don't have any more paper

I suspect this could also be on an “I’m a bloody hero” thread.
Well done.

ShriekingTrespasser · 02/05/2025 14:20

I’m a bit tired and feel like taking a nap.

Can I ask, what is it like when a nail comes off, does the nail bed hurt or is sensitive to touch or anything like that? Because one of DD's nails looks like its going to fall off after an infection and she is worried about it. She did have all her nails fall off after HFM years ago but I can't remember what it was like.

I really hope you squashed greenfly and its not that your cat is non binary

hellswelshy · 02/05/2025 14:31

I mopped the floor, it had needed doing for quite a while.

Judellie · 02/05/2025 14:35

I've hung some of the washing out. Maybe I'll hang out the rest later.

It doesn’t hurt at all, however you are best to leave it until it’s practically falling off. I caught it putting on leggings this morning - it felt a bit weird (as it’s not a normal feeling). I then assessed it and could see it was just hanging on by a corner. I pulled lightly and it came off 🙂 Underneath is thick skin that looks a lot like a nail.

I damaged it 2 months ago. It started off red, and the bruise then rose to the surface a few weeks after just below the nail bed. During that whole period it was only ever a bit tender (it never has hurt).

The section near the top might become loose first. I’d recommend trimming it, but applying pressure to the bottom of the nail at the same time (as that bit is still attached and could hurt if that makes sense?).

I hope your DD gets on ok.

hellofromtheotherside25 · 02/05/2025 14:36

I burnt my omelette this morning.

changedusernameforthis1 · 02/05/2025 14:50

I'm cleaning blueberry stains out of the rug, as I hadn't realised one had dropped on the floor and I stepped in it.

MoominMai · 02/05/2025 14:53

I wanted tomato in my cheese sandwich for lunch but had to settle for onion as I forgot the cherry tomatoes again.
