The duller the better!

I’ll start… I couldn’t decide which yoghurt to have, so had a few spoonfuls of both. Cherry, then Mango and Passionfruit.

They never look like they do in “the movies” though. I got stuck in a lift once and had to be rescued by the fire brigade. I was hoping for a hunk like the ones in the calendars, but he looked like Phil Mitchell 🙁

This might be too dramatic but I secretly really fancy Phil Mitchell.

I'm in my garden playing an Uncovered podcast in an attempt to drown out the neighbours baby talking 1to their 4 month old grandchild. I have a real dislike for over the top baby talk and the mother, aunt and both grandparents are on full loud flow, its giving me the cringe.

slapmyarseandcallmemary · 02/05/2025 16:42

I'm wearing crocs

In further boring news, I’ve just spent 30 minutes dozing in the car at the local hospital Audiology department while my husband had his hearing aids serviced. I didn’t have to pay because the ANPR system was down, so a small win there.

While my partner is out of the house, I ate some of my secret chocolate stash. I have a bar of Ritter with cornflakes - based on a thread I read about a week ago.

(I hide because my partner likes to eat chocolate but not buy it!)

I started reading this thread but it lived up to the title so I've skipped to the end 😴

The MN version of a Daily Mail “straight to the comments”.

I had to queue for 1 hour 39 minutes to drive 20 miles home today in traffic.

Ihateboris · 02/05/2025 17:08

Stuck in traffic

I got so bored reading this thread I had to go and find something else to do. So I have just turned all the hangers in my wardrobe round to face the same way.

I feel your pain

Pancakeflipper · 02/05/2025 17:10

I cleanered out and clean the cupboard of cleaning stuff.

We had 3 different carpet cleaner foam spray products.

GameOfJones · 02/05/2025 17:13

I want a candle on the bathroom windowsill. I bought a metal dish to put the candle on but the dish is too wide for the windowsill.

I have repurposed the dish to hold some bits of jewelry and have put the candle on a marble coaster like I should have done in the first place.

Allseeingallknowing · 02/05/2025 17:15

The whole 24 hours!

Jewelanemone · 02/05/2025 17:24

I bought a packet of Skips, not realising it had a small hole in the bottom. The Skips were slightly soft, but not too bad.

GRCP · 02/05/2025 17:29

I forgot my packed lunch, so bought food at work instead

dizzydizzydizzy · 02/05/2025 17:29

I'm struggling to choose which of the many dull activities to write here.

I'm watching an Escape to the Country dated 2016. Is that too exciting?

Ooh, is it the one where they have completely unrealistic expectations versus their budget, and claim they want to downsize, but turn their noses up at four-beds?

A packet of Discos caught my eye while shopping, I didn’t buy them but walked around the supermarket singing the KP Discos Jingle

louderthan · 02/05/2025 20:57

Had my lunch break 12-1, I normally have it 1-2.

TroysMammy · 02/05/2025 21:19

I bought a multi pack of crisps from the pound shop. They cost £1.25.

mamaduckbone · 02/05/2025 21:21

I measured the amount of water that my insulated cup holds in oz because I need to order a new lid.

candycane222 · 02/05/2025 21:22

I forgot to bring the washing in before I went to Tesco's so it was a bit damp.

OoLaOoLa · 02/05/2025 21:23

On my way home from work I changed my mind about cooking dinner and got myself a McDonald’s from the drive through.

Dr13Hadley · 02/05/2025 21:27

I’m deciding which wash to put on first in the morning darks or whites?? Depends whether I can be arsed to strip the bed first (whites).
