A neighbour called Dave

Does everyone know a Dave?
The Daves I know are middle aged (obviously because it was a popular name back then)
But they all seem to be on benefits, drive a motorbike of some sort , smoke weed and have a few vicious dogs.
What are your experiences of Daves?

We have a customer at work who's known as Dodgy Dave, all the staff are under strict instructions never to do business with him.

Another regular customer called David who is an absolute prick, his surname begins with L so he's referred to as 'DFL' (David Fucking L*) His wife divorced him and became a lesbian, totally understand why 😅

Just checked my FB friends list and have one David, he's a sweetie though.

We have a Dave. Young middle aged, seemed ok at first, now think he's a knob.
No motorbikes, one (very sweet dog) and no smoking of anything that I know of

I know 5 Daves. None of them is my neighbour though! They are all pretty innocuous,no motorbikes or smoking weed!

I know 4 daves. None of which are as you describe . All live in alot around a main city.

I’ve known loads of Daves over the years. Most of them were scientists, plus a few engineers (software and otherwise), academics, business owners…can’t offhand thing of any dodgy/feckless ones.

My first husband was called Dave. He didn't smoke anything, didn't drink or gamble, never went on benefits and didn't like bikes.🤷‍♀️

Perhaps London Daves are better behaved 😂

I know a 53 year old Dave who works for the LA, never been on benefits, doesn’t smoke but did smoke weed in his youth. He used to have a motorbike, but got rid after an accident mid 40’s. He has several cats, never had a dog.

Oldest DC has a 22 year old Dave friend who’s working & training to be some sort of engineer. He does smoke a lot of weed, but never yet been on benefits and doesn’t have a motorbike.

I know 3 Dave's....all David's really. All mid 40's, professionals, hard working, sporty, outdoorsy, high achieving, no drugs, families, home owners.

My Dave next door just turned 40, an English teacher and dad of 2

perfectly pleasant and doesn’t smoke weed

but he did get a wood fired pizza oven for his birthday and that can get a bit stinky
