Who is your favourite Gladiator?

SUPER EXCITED for the final on Saturday!

Wondering what people think of the Gladiators after the second series. Last time our family favourite was Legend and we still love him. Good to see Comet back, and sad to see Nitro sit out (but still get changed into his costume for the odd changing room scene).

From the new Gladiators, Cyclone is amazing, absolutely terrifying. I think Diamond has performed really well this series too.

Hoping that The Edge is one of the events for the final, there have been some pretty funny falls, I think it is my favourite event. Not so keen on the ones in the balls.

I love Gladiators, loved it in the 90’s and just as much now. Will be rooting for the young gymnast lad who was brought up by his nan to win for the men, he’s been my favourite contender this season.
For the gladiators my favourite is Apollo, seems a good sport but can also dump the odd contender in the bin when the feeling takes him. Also like Nitro and missing him from this season. Can’t see the point in Viper really, he’s no Wolf and doesn’t even seem to be a great Gladiator. Diamond is my favourite female.

Anyone but Commodus.

Legend has just got funnier.

I really like Athena. She seems really lovely without some of the arrogance you get from some of the others (Not that I don’t love them all anyway!) Phantom is my favourite male because he is gorgeous!

My kids like Dynamite.

I really admire Fury, watched her doing olympics coverage, she was so good. I like Steel, so sad for him that he lost his little boy. I cannot stand Legend, what a knob.

Oh I didn't see that about Steel, how awful I really like him, and he gave it his all in the CBeebies Christmas panto. Seems like a great, genuine guy.

Fury getting the poster with the sign language on it was a lovely moment, she is such a role model.

Legend was hilarious on Would I Lie to You? recently. It's all an act on Gladiators, and he doesn't take himself very seriously out of costume.

Legend quite clearly knows it's all panto and has worked on making himself a recognisable character- I am sure he is stacking up the work outside of Gladiators.

Legend is my favourite - I know it's all an act but I do find him hilarious, especially when he's bigging himself up in front of the other gladiators after an event such as gauntlet. I really hope he does it in the final and they collectively pick him up and throw him somewhere. Don't see the point of Viper as we have the 'baddie' in Legend.

I quite like Fury for the women.

Legend was big on YouTube doing fitness videos before Gladiators which I guess is why he is so comfortable grabbing the microphone. Apollo is trying to rival him there though!

I don't see the point in Viper either but apparently he is a big hit with the primary school population so perhaps I'm not his audience.

I’m the sort of mum who is much more entertained by Hammer than Apollo, and I appreciate Legend’s sense of humour. Fury is terrifying but brilliant.

& I think Viper should be banned as such a bad sportsman , again I know it’s an act but a bad example of sportsmanship for children watching .

I think Legend’s delivery of his lines is really good. He seems like like he would be a good laugh, clearly very happy to send himself up.

DS and DD both like Dynamite best.

I love Viper but my absolute favourite is Mark, the referee. My children find that hilarious.

Hammer's voice is too disappointing. I was hoping that he'd be Nordic. Also, does Electra ever speak?

Oh yes Mark Clattenburg is really growing into his role. His face when that contender fell off Hang Tough just as he reached the platform was brilliant, really good to see he gets into the games too!
