Who is your favourite Gladiator?

SUPER EXCITED for the final on Saturday!

Wondering what people think of the Gladiators after the second series. Last time our family favourite was Legend and we still love him. Good to see Comet back, and sad to see Nitro sit out (but still get changed into his costume for the odd changing room scene).

From the new Gladiators, Cyclone is amazing, absolutely terrifying. I think Diamond has performed really well this series too.

Hoping that The Edge is one of the events for the final, there have been some pretty funny falls, I think it is my favourite event. Not so keen on the ones in the balls.

We love Athena!

Fury is our favourite!

Unleashed has been my favourite game this season, it actually makes my heart race 😂

I'm not sure about the bit where they run through the wall on Unleashed as it seems to be a matter of luck as to whether they fall over or not.

I can't get over Hammer being called Hammer. He is clearly meant to be Thor, and the best alternative they could come up with was Hammer??

Legend! Close second is Nitro.

Fury and Legend are my favourites. Can’t warm to the new gladiators at all. Don’t really understand why they needed them as they have plenty. Super excited for the final but will be gutted when it’s over.

My favourite Apollo one was the week when it came up with his stats that he describes himself as ‘rough, buff and tough’, so now me & my kids keep saying that about him whenever we see him!

I love Fury, my DS (6) has a big crush on Dynamite and my DD (3) is obsessed with Viper! Mine both love how naughty he is, they could not get over the week he threw things in the ref’s room backstage 😂

I love Fury. So sad to hear about Steel’s baby.

Phantom - I mean, how could it be anyone else? 😍

Saying that, Mark Clattenberg comes a close second, love it when he tries not to laugh at the Gladiators.

For the women - they are all amazing and such role models. I aim to look like them (even though I'm old enough to be the mum of some of them!) and are in awe of what they can lift/squat/bench press 😳

Apollo (for obvious reasons) and legend are both great x I admire all the women but Fury and Cyclone are my favourites !

I love Legend, the stuff he comes out with is so ridiculous, he’s such a character.
I love Fury too - she’s an awesome role model 💪💪💪

Legend i think is funny. Didn’t like him at all last year then saw some of his you tube videos & seems like a decent guy and he plays the panto villan well. Favourite girl is Fury as i think she’s a genuine role model given all she’s achieved as a deaf person & showing kids not to give up
and not to worry about being different & i think she seems genuinely nice.

i don’t mind most of them tbh - not keen
on the 2 new ones & don’t like viper.

I think they let the Gladiator out too early on Unleashed, maybe need to give it another five seconds.

I love Steel and Phantom as they both play hard but are also gracious in defeat. They’re also very easy on the eye! Love Fury too, she’s brilliant.

Viking seems pointless to me, he's like a pound land Wolf and not even that good at most of the games! We were amazed he caught someone on the wall the other day!

I tried for tickets for the show but we didn't get any so this would be brilliant!

Steel came in to the school I teach at. He seemed genuinely lovely, inspirational stuff for the kids about trying your best and accepting defeat / victory graciously.
Was really sad to hear his recent news.

We love Legend, I like the Matt Does Fitness videos he does too.
The kids love Giant, they have named our biggest fish after him!
I really like Fury.
I think the second season has shown a lot more sportsmanship than the first which is great for the kids to see.

The contenders are really great for good sportsmanship, the losers congratulating the winners even though they are gutted, the winner going to cheer the loser up the travelator etc. It’s really nice.

My conspiracy theory is that they slow the travelator down if the 2nd contender falls on it, to ensure that everyone finishes the eliminator. They always finish despite being exhausted.

In terms of favourites, we do love them all but my kids especially like Athena, Diamond and Dynamite. Actually, they're all too good to choose as we also love Fury, Cyclone and Sabre. And of course Legend.
