Pops and crackles of open fire. We are on holiday in the Highlands of Scotland. Single track road outside with v little traffic, thick walls and v good double glazing, so can't hear the birds or the free range sheep, though can see a few.

The radio in the kitchen - talking about the bin strikes in Birmingham and, as the back door is open, birdsong in the garden which is lovely. The evening chorus is just as lovely as the dawn chorus.

I can also hear DH doing some tidying in the garden.

My fan, the cat licking himself, my son on his spinny chair and some birds onto of the chimney.

Wood pigeons and faraway traffic! People in their gardens and lovely bird song.

DS singing, something about chicken wings, 14 minutes until lights out!

Dh mashing the potato in the kitchen.
The budgies commenting on that.
Occasional ds moving around upstairs.

My dog snoring other than that there is silence.

Birdsong. Slight hum of the fridge.

The robot hoover and the TV on fucking loud so DH can hear it over the Hoover.

Waves, aircon fan & location location on my laptop, I'm In the Maldives stretching after eating and drinking far too much. My usual noise right now would be my dogs snoring!!

My tinnitus humming, dd playing fortnite online with her bff and the dolce gusto machine making an americano. Windows are open and not a sound outside. We live in a very quiet street!

My fan oven, and I have a purring cat on my lap. Not a lot else unless you count my tinnitus.

My podcast (A history of rock and roll in 500 songs, highly recommended). The water boiling to steam the potatoes and courgettes. The butter, lemon and dill sauce cooking.
