Traffic in the distance.
Bird song.
Children playing on the park opposite.
My teen gaming.

Mainly tinnitus then as well as that there is clattering in the kitchen because my sweet daughter is doing pasta for everyone because I’m not well. Then there’s music she’s playing quietly on Spotify too. Then my son is singing quietly as he plays a video game.

Gosh I’m not the only one with tinnitus then!

The children over the back screaming and fighting, footballs being kicked against the wall, next door shrieking.

Bloody neighbours.

Dh drying the dishes. Ds cutting the grass. Dd talking to the dog!

The blackbirds singing to each other, and my Ddog drinking water. Someone has just walked past the house singing to a child they are carrying.
Of all of them, I prefer the blackbirds!

There's a lot of it about.

My peace has now been shattered by the arrival of DH home from work, asking what time dinner will be ready. 🙄

The fan. People in next office talking - actually I think it is the tv which they have on for patients!. Me going clackity clack on the keyboard. People coming in and out the office and going home.

Apart from the constant food deliveries it is quite quiet. Past visiting time!

The sea and blue tits

Bubbles popping in the bath, the rooks squabbling in their nests, the village bus just turning a corner across the road and another car going in the opposite direction.

I'm feeling out of sorts today so laying in bed next to dd(almost 6)

She's sucking on jelly beans very loudly 😄🤭

Dh cooking.
MrCat snoring on my lap.
Ds moving around upstairs, getting ready to go out and chuckling at something.
Another ds playing his bass without plugging it into the amp.

Lovely, quiet, homely noises.

Faintly, the sound of ds' music from the garage, where he's doing weights

My tinnitus whistling loudly. the tv DD has fallen asleep to. Some kind of lorry noise outside

Sheep manically baaing, it’s past their feeding time, they’re not patient, I’m not well though so they’re going to have to wait for dh, clearly animal abuse from me and they’re letting me know it 😂

Sitting in my office. Traffic, and a teenage girl rapping outside with a group of other teens around her. My computer humming. And a ticking clock.

My little one "Goy"-ing away to himself in bed, he's almost 5, preverbal and 'goy' is his happy sound.

Birdsong. It's absolutely beautiful and quiet otherwise.
I wasn't happy about the clocks changing yesterday but it was worth it to be sitting here at this time of night listening to the birds and watching the sun starting to set out of the kitchen window.
It's been a lovely day weather wise here too, compared to the last 3 days of rain, wind and cold.
