We are off at the end of the month. Not to ghe US but the local currency is pegged to the dollar, isn't exchangeable outside the country, has high card usage charges, a tipping culture and low availability of ATMs in some areas. US$ is universally accepted so we will be taking a big chunk in cash. Falling exchange rate is a massive bonus and I'm sitting here chuckling and trying to decide whether to get now or wait a week or 2

I agree. We all know Trump loves showboating. He must've loved having the whole world's media on him yesterday in the grounds of the WH. It makes him feel tewwibly important. And give him a board with figures on it, and he's in his element.

Well... now the hard work starts. Hundreds of countries wanting to talk, understand, negotiate and no competent staff to deal with it. I think a lot of these tariffs will be gone/changed/amended in time to come. When someone sensible talks about supply chains, raw goods not coming in to the States, manufacturing stalled because of it... things will change
