FWIW; The portrait has been up since 2019. And it wasn't 'commissioned' by the Governor. It was paid for via a 'Go Fund Me' page set up by a Repug Legislator after appeals for public funding failed to get any donations to pay for a portrait for the State Capitol's 'Hall of Presidents'.
