Why do men do this

"D"H one.

I've been telling him nicely and then not so nicely but he's always peeing all over the floor of the toilet. It gets soaked up on the mat and becomes filthy.

I wash it every 3 days and it starts to stink again. I have a pile of laundry already and I don't want to wash the mats so often !

I don't have a cleaner and I clean the toilets on my own. But I don't want to be cleaning his pee every other day. I'm feeling so fed up.

His excuse is he can't aim. He's not doing deliberately. And that my hair fall makes the bathroom dirty. Mind you he's never once cleaned it.

He gets a kick from your humiliation of doing that.
Really ugly.
Stop doing his laundry.
Stop cooking.
Move to another bedroom.
Rethink your marriage.

He is treating you with utter contempt.
Oh and tell family and friends the truth.

Do you allow that pig to touch you?
If so, stop.

All the medical condition talk?????

What medical condition stops him cleaning up after himself?????
He's a pig.

theteachesofleeches · 27/02/2025 07:42

Homophobic as well. Nice man you have there.
A friend of DH pissed on the floor at Christmas, I told him and he just said "oh, right, yeah, it happens" and then Dh told him to clean it up. Women should not be on their knees cleaning mens piss FFS throw away the mat and send him back every time. He's a filthy, lazy, misogynistic, homophobic pig.

loveawineloveacrisp · 27/02/2025 07:44

I wouldn't stay married to a man like this. Disgusting inconsiderate pig.

EBearhug · 27/02/2025 07:44

as for work toilets, I’d not be so sure, our toilets aren’t always left how i want to find them, and as for public toilets let’s not even go there!

One of my male friends had quite a rant about the state men leacmve toilets in, when I saw him at the weekend.

Ineedthesun80 · 27/02/2025 07:47

Unless his dick is bent like a banana or so tiny he can’t hold it,he has no reason not to be able to aim!tell him to sit down or hold the bloody thing!

beadystar · 26/02/2025 23:05

A homophobic misogynist who isn't toilet trained? Sexy 🙄

🤣

TwoRobins · 27/02/2025 07:49

I think he probably thinks it's fine as that's what the mat is there for - to soak up spilled piss.😠Is it hard floor under the mat or carpet? If hard floor - have you tried removing the mat?

whathaveiforgotten · 27/02/2025 07:50

He'd rather you had to regularly clean up his piss than do it himself.

It's that simply really.

Complete contempt for you.

whathaveiforgotten · 27/02/2025 07:50

And he thinks that's what OP is there for, to clean up the piss.

What a gross little man.

My husband always sits down to pee in a domestic setting. He only pees standing up if he's in a public toilet. Perhaps your husband should do that .

HelpMeGetThrough · 27/02/2025 07:58

He's either got a cock like a colander or he's just being a lazy git.

Aiming is not difficult, stand, point and pee.

Sprogonthetyne · 27/02/2025 08:01

I'd get rid of the mat, then insist that he wipes up any splashes every time. It took about 6 months of sending my 8yo back in to clean up to give him the incentive to learn to aim, so I'm sure your (presumably adult) DH will manage.

Cherriescherry · 27/02/2025 08:03

itsnightmare · 26/02/2025 22:58

He won't sit I suggested. Because and I'm sorry for offending anyone here - I found the reason stupid and offensive. He's a man and not a girl or gay.

Please don't come at me. 🙏🏻

Well he's not a man either if he can't aim. I grew up in a house of men/boys and now live with my male DP and our child. None of them pissed all over the floor.

M103 · 27/02/2025 08:21

My husband does not do that at all...

Needtosoundoffandbreathe · 27/02/2025 08:25

Urgh. Take the mat away. Put a pack of cleaning wipes on top of the toilet. He cleans up after himself every time. Used wipes go in biodegradable nappy bags and into the bin. Put a ping pong ball in the loo for him to aim at.

itsnightmare · 27/02/2025 08:33

Thanks everyone.

Putting a mat was my choice as my feet feel cold when touching the tiled floor in the morning. I'll either remember to put socks on going forward or find a slippers first thing in the morning.

The mat has gone now since last night. Won't be back.

It's much cleaner this morning.

I'm not leaving him. I did suggest a visit to GP but he's saying he's fine. I'll nudge and talk again in a few days.

Thanks again everyone for your inputs especially for the GP point.

Alright.
Interesting responses.
Dirty pig, lack of respect, gets "high" from pissing on the floor and his wife cleaning up ...
I understand the anger and disgust, however, my 75 yo husband often drops on the rim or floor and has never been a disgusting, disrespectful pig.
He quietly cleans up and if anything left, apologises. It's hard for him to bend down or sit while peeing (had a spinal fusion ages ago).
It's not always contempt, disrespect and anger.
As the male PP said, sometimes it's easy for this to happen.
Don't know how old the OP's husband is, probably middle aged.
😐

PerkyGreenCat · 27/02/2025 08:51

@itsnightmare this is why I'm single, I read too many of these posts on mumsnet and it puts me off making any effort to date.

It knocks me sick to think of you spending years of your life mopping up a man's piss and thinking that's all you're worth. You're committing yourself to a man who chooses to disrespect you everytime he goes to the toilet.

I can't imagine ever being so entitled to expect another human to clean up my bodily fluids when I'm an able bodied person. I'd be so embarrassed if I pissed on someone's floor.

But poor baby boy might have an undetected medical condition. Poor baby boy is a fucking adult with a fully functioning brain! He can problem solve himself.

What a fucking prick!

theressomanytinafeysicouldbe · 27/02/2025 08:51

OP not all men are perfect aim - is it a lot of pee or just a splash here and there?

I said to my DH we would go through a lot less toilet paper if he'd lift or wipe the f*cking seat, but he doesn't miss completely and pee on the floor

Try putting a table tennis ball in the toilet and tell him to aim for that - or drawer a black dot just above the water line - it works with kids

PerkyGreenCat · 27/02/2025 08:57

@theressomanytinafeysicouldbe why are you suggesting OP toilet trains an adult man?! What the fuck am I reading? He's a man! A big boy! He presumably holds down a job, has responsibilities. Why does he need a fucking tennis ball in the toilet? Does he need a reward chart too?!

I'm getting the rage here, I shall exit now and chill out.

It's really not that bad being single ladies!

itsnightmare · 27/02/2025 08:57

It's not all over the place. Just every day / sometimes few days on the mat - a splash.

Yesterday was a lot and made me gag in the evening.

He does lift the seat up though. He's early 40s.

Westfacing · 27/02/2025 08:58

A toilet mat - just why? I didn't think anyone had them these days!

StMarie4me · 27/02/2025 08:58

Men don't.

Your husband does.

Tell him he's disgusting, lazy and pathetic.

Bippityboppitybooo · 27/02/2025 09:27

OK, so I have experience in this. Dp has a v long term medical issue causing spraying. He was for a while disgusting, explained he couldn't help it. I had to explain clearly and several times, getting very very cross, that the accidents weren't the issue, but the lack of cleaning up after himself. The disrespect it showed to me to have socks wet with pee (this is what will happen to you now without the mat, it's grim). He still has this medical issue now 9 years on, but he always sits now at home, and he cleans up after himself. I think he really needed it spelling out for it's disgusting glory. He also cleans the toilet, just how it's worked out.

marshmallowfinder · 27/02/2025 09:29

Sit the fuck down. Then no urine will get on the floor. How disgusting.
