Why do men do this

"D"H one.

I've been telling him nicely and then not so nicely but he's always peeing all over the floor of the toilet. It gets soaked up on the mat and becomes filthy.

I wash it every 3 days and it starts to stink again. I have a pile of laundry already and I don't want to wash the mats so often !

I don't have a cleaner and I clean the toilets on my own. But I don't want to be cleaning his pee every other day. I'm feeling so fed up.

His excuse is he can't aim. He's not doing deliberately. And that my hair fall makes the bathroom dirty. Mind you he's never once cleaned it.

He won't sit I suggested. Because and I'm sorry for offending anyone here - I found the reason stupid and offensive. He's a man and not a girl or gay.

Please don't come at me. 🙏🏻

Does he magically get past his homophobia when he needs to sit to take a shit??

Why on earth are you in a relationship with someone so unattractive. You are worth more 🤦🏼‍♀️

RampantIvy · 26/02/2025 23:10

His excuse is he can't aim

Of course he can aim. He isn't trying. If he can't aim in time then he needs to see a GP.

Instead of putting a mat on the floor put one of his T-shirts or jumpers down instead.

wizzywig · 26/02/2025 23:10

Bet he is using both hands to hold his phone. Please don't touch his phone. Ugh

Ooh, excellent idea.

LillyPJ · 26/02/2025 23:13

Tell him to sit down if he can't aim. Also - make him clean the bathroom.

Noseyoldcow · 26/02/2025 23:13

Wait until his prostate plays up. Then he will find sitting better than standing to get a faster and more efficient voiding of his bladder.
Mind you, you may well have left him by then, having got fed up of paddling in the dirty git's piss.

Does he piss everywhere when at work or using public toilets or just at home?
Absolutely vile specimen of an adult!

Guarantee he manages to control his piss in the work loos or he'd get known as the floor pissing twat.

It's one of my big bug bears that piss me off tbh. Useless men at home who can't figure out how to use a washer, piss properly, remember birthdays and anniversaries etc.. but.. can figure out how to drive cars, remember deadlines and earn promotions and rises at work..

If some bloke is capable at work and useless at home so their wife has to do everything, they're cunts. Plain and simple.

'Men' do not do this. Your filthy pig of a husband does it. I would be filing for divorce TBH if my husband pissed all over the floor like an animal. Actually, even cats manage to hit the bloody cat litter!

Years ago, we had a Burmese cat who would jump in the bath and pee down the plughole.

Halloumiheaven · 26/02/2025 23:15

Toilet mats are grim. That needs to go.

Is there a reason he has trouble aiming ? There's no hypospadias or anything that causes misaligned aim ? Smaller penis where holding it and directing it is not as easy ?(Genuine questions)

Regardless, it's not your job to mop up. How much are we talking here ? A few drops at a time or spraying everywhere?

Cabella · 26/02/2025 23:15

OP, I mean this kindly, please don't panic, but has your DH been tested for prostate problems? My other half had "2 streams" he couldn't help it, and it was the first sign of an enlarged prostate. Please ask him to book a GP appointment asap.

Lookuptotheskies · 26/02/2025 23:15

My six year old knows to wipe up his own wee if he does the odd bit on the seat or the floor. And it's rare he needs to.

Why a grown ass man can't do that I can't understand.

Even dogs can be house trained!
He's grim.

thenumberseven · 26/02/2025 23:16

Men don't do this , my dad and three brothers don't , my husband and three sons don't, my two grandsons don't
My male inlaws don't

gandticenslice · 26/02/2025 23:18

Does he have an issue with where his urethra is coming out. If it’s not coming straight out the end of his nob he has a medical problem called Hypospadias.
If he’s just a lazy git I would take the mat away piss on the floor and see how he likes standing in someone else’s piss. Or put a load of paper down as he’s an animal.

Your husband problem is bigger than pissing on the floor.

bombastix · 26/02/2025 23:20

Well now you know. You are a girl, and the piss mopping is your concern.

This guy has a great deal from you, well done him.

Halloumiheaven · 26/02/2025 23:20

Also OP all the hot headed "leave the disgusting grim pig" talk isn't helpful really.

Check out there's no reason for this medically or anatomically.

Do speak to him but avoid name calling and shouting. It won't work well. It needs addressing but, do it like an adult. Don't read too much into the bandwagon battle of the insults on this thread

CaptainBeanThief · 26/02/2025 23:28

Piss on his face tonight whilst he is asleep and see how he likes cleaning up your piss the tramp.
My husband sits on the toilet and has a wee, he prefers it that way and feels cleaner, anyway least he's not pissing all over the floor.
I can't believe you can even sleep in the same bed as him let alone clean up his piss 😑

From reading the OPs posts, she has already tried to address it and has spoken to him - he responded saying only girls and gay men care if they piss on the floor. And he leaves it for someone else to clean.

The time for a “softly softly, poor defenceless man” talk is way past, so please don’t be such an apologist. I’m quite sure if the OP were to leave, say, menstrual blood on the floor, her “D”P wouldn’t be thinking “oh well, women can’t help it” and mopping it up for her.

I would go for replacing the bath mats with one of his shirts, if he really won’t comprehend why you find scrubbing his piss off the floor completely nauseating.

WilfredsPies · 26/02/2025 23:32

Does he understand that’s not how sexuality works? He does understand that there’s not a section of gay men who used to be straight, but they sat down to pee once and now they like sex with men?

And what’s his excuse for not cleaning up after himself? Is he afraid his penis will drop off and he’ll grow boobs?

I’d go with Rampant Ivy’s suggestion. Get rid of the mat and replace it with one of his tops. One of his favourites.

528htz · 26/02/2025 23:33

Tell him that every time he does it, you'll pee in a cup and pour it all over his clean underwear. We can all invent little pissing games if that's what he's into. His choice. And get rid of the mats, it sends the message that they're okay to pee on, like bloody puppy pads.

ArmyBarbie · 26/02/2025 23:35

Then he needs to sit down. That's grim. My (very clean and tidy) DH has never left piss on the rim or the floor, and it's rare even for my otherwise lazy and careless 11yo DS.

GiddyRobin · 26/02/2025 23:35

So he's misogynistic, homophobic, can't aim his piss into a toilet, and also won't clean it up?

What a delight.

Fuck that. Not once in all our time together has DH done this. It's not a man thing, it's a dickhead thing.

NewMarmiteJar · 26/02/2025 23:39

@MeganCarter 'Years ago, we had a Burmese cat who would jump in the bath and pee down the plughole.'

Classy cat!

CandyLeBonBon · 26/02/2025 23:41

I'd be setting him up with a kitty litter box in the shed.

If he's going behave like animal, he can be treated like one (a bit unfair to cats, I know).

ShouldIEvenBother · 26/02/2025 23:44

Why does he never clean the bathroom? Does he do any household work - or is that reserved only for those of us who own a vagina?

He is telling you he is going to keep pissing where he likes, and he expects you to clean it up. You don't have to. Have a re-think (I'd be re-thinking the whole man tbh).
