will your husband notice that you have one earring missing/coat inside out?

Hi All,
Just a regular post to understand whether all/most men are like this please?
Let's say you walk in front of your husband with clothes inside out, would your husband notice? Or another example, let's say you only have one earring on our ears, but lost the other one, how long does it generally take your husband to notice it or would you find that out yourselves?
Just curious! :)

Mine didn’t notice I had had six lower front teeth removed one day.

Ponderingwindow · 25/02/2025 19:19

Yes and I find it super annoying. He will notice if my pajama top is on inside out. The pajama top that is virtually identical in either direction and I really don’t care which way I put it on.

SheherazadesSpringNonsense · 25/02/2025 19:20

Absolutely not

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 25/02/2025 19:20

I used to say that Dh wouldn’t notice if I went out topless with my nipples painted green.
Still the case!

Earlyird12345 · 25/02/2025 19:20

In one appointment, I mean

That made me laugh out loud...sorry. 😏

minipie · 25/02/2025 19:23

Coat inside out yes
Other clothing probably
Missing earring I suspect not

PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich · 25/02/2025 19:23

I think he would, he always puts my coat collars straight for me and things like that so he does look at me. Not sure about something as little as an earring - I don't wear them so that's untested.

tulipsunday · 25/02/2025 19:24

Yes he is very observant. I notice nothing!

justanotherposterfrom · 25/02/2025 19:24

My DH wouldn't notice if I walked in with my head on backwards.

CuthbertDribble · 25/02/2025 19:25

No but it's not that he wouldn't notice because it's me. He wouldn't notice a new sofa either.

Although actually he would probably notice if the dog was wearing a new collar. I might test that out.

PiastriThePastry · 25/02/2025 19:25

I think so, although it wouldn’t be a guarantee for the smaller things, like earrings.

Dryshampoofordays · 25/02/2025 19:27

Nope. I leaked breast milk in a big circle over my boob at the in laws one time and no one thought to tell me, I noticed when we got home.

Barrenfieldoffucks · 25/02/2025 19:29

Clothes inside out, yes, probably if it was obvious (labels etc)

Earrings, probably not for a while.

Haha! Same!

Createausername1234 · 25/02/2025 19:41

Thank you Ladies. For those with husbands who are not observant, do you like it that way or wish they were more observant?

I was married to a former detective and he noticed everything! It was like being married to Hercule Poirot, but he didn't have a moustache!

rainache · 25/02/2025 19:43

He would notice my jacket but probably not a missing earring!

biscuitsandbooks · 25/02/2025 19:44

Clothes - yes.
Earring - no, but he often finds them on the floor before I've noticed they're missing!

I suspect they didn't know how too.

JoyousEagle · 25/02/2025 19:47

Inside out coat - yes

Missing earring - not in a million years. He only noticed the other day that I have two piercings in each earlobe (in his defence, his eyesight is terrible and he's not legally allowed to drive because of it).

AgnesX · 25/02/2025 19:51

He didn't notice odd earrings... One stud and one dropper one day. Mind you neither did I that day!

BananaSquash · 25/02/2025 19:52

A little while ago I was away for the weekend, leaving adult DD and DH in the house. When I called him on Saturday night he said DD had been out in the morning (this is quite rare), but he didn't know where and didn't ask. When next I saw DD on Monday night it was obvious she'd had a haircut. DH had sat with her for 3 or 4 meals and not noticed at all.

PencilForScale · 25/02/2025 19:53

I vaguely remember someone on here years ago saying that - just to piss her partner off- she'd only put mascara on one eye and he'd know something was off and be disturbed but could never work out what.

PoppyBaxter · 25/02/2025 19:53

Christ, not a chance he'd notice.

My sister had waist length hair when we were teenagers. She shaved it off one day - a no.3 buzz cut - and Dad didn't notice.
