People liking your posts?

Last year, I noticed that 1 user, was liking (with the emoji) nearly every post I commented on. They often didn't make any comments within the thread and it felt like they'd gone through my history and liked every comment I made!

MNHQ looked into it, but said it was a genuine user who maybe just 'liked' lots of posts! I name changed, and now the same person is doing it again!

Does anyone else notice 'likes' from the same person/people on all their posts? Do you, yourself, do this and like every post someone makes? If so- why?

I noticed I had the same person liking most of my posts and also not commenting on the thread. I did find it a bit weird but nothing to get worried about I don't think.
I do like quite a few posts, and they may well be by the same poster but I'm not sure (sorry if I have, and they are reading this. Like someone else has said, I've not noticed the username of the poster when doing this, just agreeing with the comments, or they have made me laugh (not on a mocking way) when I have used the laughing emoji)

How do we even 'like' posts?

You tap on React at the bottom of the post.

I name change regularly and have noticed someone likes a lot of my posts. I think it's just that she holds similar points of view to me.

I’ve turned off the notifications because life is better that way.

To be fair I sometimes like posts that say what I would’ve said, and then I dont also post as why bother if it’s been said and said well
