I don't understand why the news outlets are so surprised.

Why would Zelensky give away his country? There's no way he'd do that after fighting for it for so long and so hard.

How anyone in the US could be so deluded that they thought the Tangerine Toddler could get "peace" by stealing a country, I'll never fathom.

I've often thought there's a hysteria over Trump, but I'm absolutely disgusted with his behaviour here. Trump actually shoved Zelensky. I thought he would punch him at one point. Poor poor zelensky. A dignified, amazing leader, treated shockingly. He's a fucking imbecile.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Zelenskyy has more moral character, charisma and integrity in his pinky finger than the entire Trump Cabinet put together.

And so much of the awareness of support for Ukraine is down to him. If it had been the previous pols it probably would still be A War Far Far away of which week ow nothing and care even less.

I really hope Zelensky comes to Europe with the minerals deal offer on the table. The Trump Tantrum would be epic.

I don't think the penny is ever going to drop with Trump that he's plainly showing he's no strong man who makes beautiful deals. What good deal maker gives one side everything they want immediately, in plain sight? How does this fit with him being strong on Putin? It doesn't because Trump can't even begin to do joined up thinking.

If I was Putin I'd almost be worried how obvious Trump is favouring Russia. It makes Trump extremely vulnerable. Except we don't live in normal times.

I do wonder how much of it is that Trump is scared shitless of Putin and Russia.
