For those who weren't born or don't remember and those that do, it's an incredible forty years since this song reached Number 1 in the UK. A bit of a classic really. I'm not at all keen on power ballads by and large but IWTKWLI really hits home.

I also like Feel Like Makin' Love by Bad Company and All I Need by Beth Nielsen Chapman.

I Want to Know What Love is a song I have to listen to on repeat (I’m talking like 20 times) when I have period pains as it is the only thing that helps me regulate my stomach cramps 🤣 it’s like my body is in tune to the song and the rhythm (bizarre I know!). Anyway my sister refuses to even listen to it now because she has heard it that many times whilst I’ve been hanging over the toilet with period pain and sickness 🤣 don’t think my sister will ever read mumsnet but name changed just in case 😂
