For those who weren't born or don't remember and those that do, it's an incredible forty years since this song reached Number 1 in the UK. A bit of a classic really. I'm not at all keen on power ballads by and large but IWTKWLI really hits home.

I also like Feel Like Makin' Love by Bad Company and All I Need by Beth Nielsen Chapman.

I'd forgotten about All Out Of Love by Air Supply. That last note held on for so long is quite a feat, even though it's pitched a little under a semitone too high!

That song immediately brings back the feeling of my 14 year old heart breaking when my crush got off with someone else at the disco 😭

I have such bad memories of this song, my parents had just split and my Mum played this over and over and over and over. I still have nightmares about it coming onto the radio. My most hated song of the 80s

I used to sit and sob my heart out to it because Kenny C betrayed me to that song with Angela, who was, scandalously, in the year above 🤣 oh the drama.
