What would you think if you saw this while checking in to a hotel? (Lighthearted)

It appears to be living in an hole under the reception desk. It ran over my DH’s foot on its way back to its little home. Any guesses for which country? Special bonus if you can narrow it down to the hotel 🐀 Hint: 3 star hotel. One night costs approximately £135 (either in £ or the equivalent local currency 🤣)

The Uk - one of the big cities.

India or Thailand.

PortiasBiscuit · 12/01/2025 20:01

Is it on Malta, watched the mice charge along the wainscot every evening in the dining room. Not naming hotel though because delightfully otherwise.

VirginiaGirl · 12/01/2025 20:01

Cute! It wouldn’t bother me.

Siberian hamster, how sweet!

LuluBlakey1 · 12/01/2025 20:04

Looks grubby and filthy enough to be England.
Little animal is cute.

MrsMoastyToasty · 12/01/2025 20:04

allthemiddlechildrenoftheworld · 12/01/2025 20:05

I think the filthy walls and carpet are worse in a way.

Nomorecoconutboosts · 12/01/2025 20:06

@EVHead ‘cream cracker, digestive, ryvita?!

in answer to the original question it’s a premier inn, in the Midlands?

ItsSoStimulatingBeingYourHat · 12/01/2025 20:07

It’s Paris and he’s just looking for the kitchen so he can show how good he is at cooking.

FacingTheWall · 12/01/2025 20:22

St Pancras Premier Inn? (Only because of the description, not because I’ve ever seen any mice there!!)

Sebsaloysius · 12/01/2025 20:29

Give us a clue....did it have clogs on?

KingBoop · 12/01/2025 20:31

Many have guessed right, it’s the UK 🇬🇧 🧀

Thought so. The currency thing was a distraction. It has UK hotel carpet.

Um.. is it a big chain one?

LegoBingo · 12/01/2025 20:35

I don't think it's the one with the silent night mattresses

based on the 2 sq ft of the picture it looks a right dump.

MermaidEyes · 12/01/2025 20:38

£135 a night! It looks filthy! Even a cheap Travelodge would be better than that.

wholettheturnipsburn · 12/01/2025 20:38

I need to know where.

Is it Arbroath ?
