I don’t like any of them. I’m politically hornless but seeing this turd getting more and more popular would actually make me leave the country.

"nothing can be more disastrous than the Conservatives and Labour anyway".

A far right government run by millionaires who think climate change is a hoax and everything that's wrong with this country can be blamed on immigrants, couldn't be worse than the last 20 years of Labour and Conservative governments?

Of course it bloody could be.

Climate change and the push for net zero in the UK is laughable when we are so tiny. It would hardly make a dent in global emissions.

There isn't anyone in politics who is truly holier than thou. I genuinely don't like any high profile politician, I have a particular/additional aversion though to the aforementioned good guys (because they're not good guys, they just present themselves as such); it's a pursuit favoured entirely by 'lefties' (as some would call them).

Farage wouldn't run the country any better or worse than the recent crop. I don't think I'd vote for his party, however I'd find it amusing (given it would annoy the frauds and their simpering/bleeding heart supporters) were he to become a serious contender.

Sleepwalking into fascism to 'own the libs'. Fuck me.

Why? He hasn’t produced a manifesto just details of unfunded undeliverable spending

Much like Labour then.

BeethovenNinth · 28/12/2024 19:44

The UK is in a mess. If Farage can turn it around then fair play

i want a fairer country with economic growth and I want genuine refugees rather than economic migrants. Does this make me far right?

Teddybear23 · 28/12/2024 19:44

Parker231 · 28/12/2024 16:48

What policies do you support which are fully costed?

All of them, without him this country will soon become an Islamic state, is that what you all want?

Teddybear23 · 28/12/2024 19:47

DuncinToffee · 28/12/2024 17:02

In what way?

If you can’t see what’s happening in this country you must have your head in the sand or just watch the BBC who don’t tell you anything.

Teddybear23 · 28/12/2024 19:50

izimbra · 28/12/2024 17:38

People on this thread who either can't see that Farage is a fascist, actively don't care, or actively welcome fascism.

That's where we are now.

Frightened for my children's future. 😟

My goodness, be VERY afraid for your children if Reform don’t get in! Wake up people, you’re going around with your eyes shut or head in the sand!

Parker231 · 28/12/2024 19:52

Teddybear23 · 28/12/2024 19:44

From the 2021 Census it recorded just under four million British Muslims, or 6.0% of the total population in the UK. Hardly a majority. They’re British so entitled to live in the UK.

flowertoday · 28/12/2024 19:52

Bloody hell @Teddybear23..... Did you see what happened in Germany in the christmas market with the nutcase who had become convinced Germany was becoming an 'Islamist state'. How can you believe or say such things.
We really are all going to hell if people can come out with such things .

izimbra · 28/12/2024 19:54

@Teddybear23

"If you can’t see what’s happening in this country"

What - the big upsurge in right wing disinformation and propaganda, rampant racism & xenophobia, conspiracy thinking, climate change denialism?

That?

I've got a Facebook account I set up two years ago that I intended to use for work related things. Never got round to it - didn't follow anyone, don't like, click on or respond to posts, but just look at it the feed now and again. Literally the entire feed is full of far right shite being promoted: vicious anti-trans spite, climate change denialist, & racist shite. Obviously there's money and organisation behind this - I've never seen anything like it, and I've been using social media for years and years. Constant stream of far right propaganda. Very, very disturbing.

flowertoday · 28/12/2024 19:54

Farage is a horrible odious little man. It does all seem very dark and depressing 😕

TheSillyGoose · 28/12/2024 19:55

I'm another mumsnetter who has just become a member of reform. Labour have ruined this country in 5 months. I dread to think how bad it will be by the next election.

MrsPeregrine · 28/12/2024 19:55

Parker231 · 28/12/2024 18:49

Why are you a fan of Starmer?

Turn the light off as you leave.

I no longer live in the UK so won’t be voting for any of them but have an interest in politics.

StarDolphins · 28/12/2024 19:57

He’ll get in because Labour are beyond shit & so are conservatives. 3 shit parties to choose from.

DuncinToffee · 28/12/2024 19:57

Spell it out like I am stupid then

How will Reform make life better in the UK, which of their policies will do it?

The Farage riots certainly didn't help

izimbra · 28/12/2024 19:57

Note all the people making positive noises about Farage, immediately outing themselves as xenophobes and climate change sceptics.

MaloryJingleJones · 28/12/2024 19:58

I feel that way about the lying, thieving Starmer

Teddybear23 · 28/12/2024 19:59

Parker231 · 28/12/2024 19:14

What policies would you want him to rollout if he became PM?

All of them, just read them for yourself

wholettheturnipsburn · 28/12/2024 19:59

Still waiting to hear what his policies are and what values he espouses

Other than appealing to the lowest common denominator

Are you OK?

This is a deranged comment.

Labour couldn't possibly have 'ruined' the country in 5 months. Do you work your way through a stack of Daily Express/Daily Mail/Telegraphs every day and you've worked yourself into a frenzy about Labour's plans to tax rich farmers at half the rate of all other business owners?
