I'm watching on Flight24 to see if they can get KL1075 down at Bristol. Currently circling well north of airport and not even attempting to land.

Looks like it's just having a nice tour of the Welsh valleys

I wonder if the pilot is trying to negotiate somewhere else to land. Cardiff airport is closed and Bristol is on a westerly runway so pilot currently trying to line up to land.

Wait, what is this? Is it something Heathrow Airport does or is it a random guy with a camera filming planes landing? Excellent idea if its the latter.

I'm sat with DS watching this on TV. It's fascinating. British Airways pilots all seem to be able to handle it either ease but some of the other airlines are struggling!

I've just googled and seen it is a man filming from the top of a converted van. Isn't it illegal to film at airports?

Not at all. There are numerous aviation live stream channels out there.

It’s OK in the Uk in most but not all public areas but you do have to be careful elsewhere in the world.

For info though it is still illegal in the UK to listen to the ATC/pilot comms over the radio unless you hold the appropriate licence.

In reality is the authorities tend to turn a blind eye and ear to the those doing it as long as they don’t rebroadcast what they have heard/received.

I’m watching another at Manchester airport. They show flight radar details and takeoffs too.

I love Bigjet tv and it actually cured my fear of flying! Watching the skill of the pilots made me realise that we are in safe hands.

Another one watching. Anyone know what time they will be back on?
