M&S Best Ever Chicken tikka masala

Trimbleton · 03/12/2024 16:45

M&S Indian range is almost as good as some takeaways - madras, butter chicken, prawn jalfrezi, all excellent

Dontjudgeme101 · 03/12/2024 16:46

Tesco’s Thai green chicken curry! Yummy.

SpeculativeHoumous · 03/12/2024 16:47

Looks like a trip to m&s is in order! I have one every Tuesday as I just don't have time to cook

SereneCapybara · 03/12/2024 16:49

I like Waitrose lamb jalfrezi.

Ooh nice. You don't get many lamb options usually

Bubblegum922 · 03/12/2024 17:01

FrenchandSaunders · 03/12/2024 17:03

M&S Thai green curry
or Charlie bighams new curry’s are very nice

mitogoshigg · 03/12/2024 17:08

Following as have not had a decent ready meal curry since Asda in Leicester stopped carrying a fish curry one that was delicious (brand was an Indian name). Thankfully tonight I have my own leftovers

Vicliz24 · 03/12/2024 17:10

I love the Waitrose Indian meals . The lamb rogan Josh is gorgeous as is the prawn curry. They used to regularly be on offer but sadly rarely are any longer. They are at the moment though. The pilau rice with carrots and spinach is lovely.

Mynewnameis · 03/12/2024 17:12

COOK if you don't mind frozen. All delicious

dixon86 · 03/12/2024 17:16

I've never had a decent curry from a supermarket. Nothing comes close to a takeaway

Fair enough but I have a microwave curry every Tuesday. I don't have time or the money for a takeaway.

I like the spice Taylor kits - I often have the lentil one for lunch as they are super quick to make, 5 mins literally. You could also buy some ready cooked protein and add that to one that requires additional protein adding. I love the that you feel like you are cooking toasting the little bag of spices.

Also don’t forget to visit the frozen world food section and grab some frozen naans or chapattis yum.

Witchywoo41 · 03/12/2024 17:22

Came to say m&s chicken tikka masala too. Sainsbury’s do a decent one too. I like Charlie brighams but they’re expensive for what are they are.

smallsilvercloud · 03/12/2024 17:23

Tesco finest are good

SausageRoll2020 · 03/12/2024 17:25

Charlie Bigham ones are really good 😋
If you want something halfway between ready made and homemade then the spice tailor kits are fabulous.

Another top tip is to get the frozen parathas from Sainsbury's, they only take a couple of mins in a hot pan.

I really want a curry now 🤤

It really is. Tastes like a good take away.

Origamiheaven · 03/12/2024 17:26

Not supermarket branded but Charlie Bigham chicken jalfrezi is delicious

pastapestoparmesan · 03/12/2024 17:26

Tesco finest and Sainsburys ttd both have a nice chicken biryani with some fancy bits in like cranberries, cardamom, flaked almonds…

SereneCapybara · 03/12/2024 16:49

I like Waitrose lamb jalfrezi.

I second this😀

Ohnobackagain · 03/12/2024 17:28

@SpeculativeHoumous years ago the Sainsbury butter chicken. Spicier and nothing like normal
butter chicken. Don’t know if it is still around. Their jalfrezi used to be good too.

fussychica · 03/12/2024 17:29

M&S best ever chicken tikka masala
Or
Waitrose keralan chicken fry
both top notch
